Part of a 1940s bungalow colony, lovingly restored; privacy without isolation, streamside gazebo. "Rose Mountain Cottages" was built as Feitzingers Cabins in the late 1940s. It was a traditional Bungalow Colony with one- and two-bedroom cabins. Currently, four fully independent cabins have been renovated and are available for rental. The property has 62 acres of private wooded mountain for hiking, snowshoeing and general outdoor enjoyment. There is 1/4 mile of private frontage on the Esopus River. We have converted the old swimming pool into a lily pond and garden area.
