Escape to a quiet spot by woods, great for stargazing or spotting local 'visitors' - robins, owls, rabbits or ponies and deer in the nearby New Forest. Walk to Milford beach through the Woodland path nearby or drive 5-10 minutes to that or several other local beaches. There are three bedrooms so the place can accommodate 6 guests in total all in beds/bedrooms - no one on a pull out sofa bed! Two single beds in each of the twin rooms, the 1st twin room also has mattress toppers for extra comfort & is longer than standard (caravan)beds. Both twin rooms are cosy, but each have a cupboard & space under the beds. They have worked well for families whether grandparents or different age children. Larger room with Kingsize bed in the back bedroom, with room for travel cot Two bathrooms both with toilet & sink, one also has a walk in shower. More information below. Leisure Passes are required to access ALL facilities which includes new entertainment centre and robot 'waiters' & various bars, restaurants, arcade and showroom as well as the pools & gym. Passes will need to be arranged & paid for separately & direct with the site. . Tailor-made blackout curtains in all bedrooms and some storage space (cupboards, under beds in twin and cupboards above bed & some in wardrobe in back bedroom). Duvets and pillows (both hypoallergenic) are supplied and currently, bedlinen ie sheets, duvet covers, pillowcases at no extra charge. The kitchen is fully equipped, with a large (new) fridge freezer, gas hob & oven as well as a combi microwave oven. There is a breakfast bar, double glazing, central heating and a pebble effect fire for winter, plus a 32" TV with Netflix (if you have a roaming account)& Freeview, a DVD player and films, books and board games to borrow. (More DVDs for hire from the onsite shop) We also provide some basic condiments. There is also outdoor seating and a table, with baskets for berry picking and crabbing lines (in the outside storage box). As well as an abundance of walks and places to visit, and things to do -from kayaking on Beaulieu river, paddleboarding, mackerel fishing and horse riding to Peppa Pig World or the Motorbike Museum. A range of restaurants just down the road in Milford on sea: Michelin star fish restaurant La Vervienne, The Cave gin bar and tapas, Britannia Thai, Rays Italian, an Indian restaurant Monsoori heights, Saltwater Cafe, The Lighthouse bar and restaurant on sea front and two super pubs the Smugglers Inn and The Lazy Lion. About the location Shorefield Country Park is a family-run holiday park on the south coast near the New Forest. The on-site facilities include: . There are lot of things to see and do in the area, with the beautiful New Forest National Park on your doorstep. Here you’ll find wild ponies, cows, donkeys, deer and occasionally pigs. It is a beautiful area to explore during any season, either on foot, by bike (can be hired at Burley) or on horseback at the local riding stables.
