Located in a family-friendly neighborhood, it can efficiently accommodate four. Old-world charm, close to all subway lines! Our guest apartment is in Leopoldstadt, the 2nd Bezirk (District 2), a 5 minute walk from the historic inner city of Vienna, known as "Innenstadt", at the corner of Lilienbrunngasse and Negerlegasse. It is a very popular and trendy area, vibrant with many varied cultures. We are family-friendly and families with kids are always welcome! Located right by direct non-stop Airport Bus; all inter-country and inter-city train stations with easy connection to Schwedenplatz Underground (Subway) which has in addition to U1 also U4 as well as easy no-additional-cost super-fast access to all other underground lines. Also tram (trolley car) lines 1 and 2 which take you to Ringstrasse is right here (or simply walk there) as well as easy no-additional-cost connection to all other tram lines. But the best thing is most tourist attractions are within a few minutes walk along scenic ways such as across Donaukanal (Danube). Oh, also all boat rides leave and return right from Schwedenplatz Donaukanal which is like 2 minutes from here, including to Bratislava! In short, it's right in the heart of the tourist zone! That means it's right for you! Our apartment (about 50 square meters) is divided into a spacious kitchen/dining area, bathroom with shower and WC, a comfortable living room with sofa bed and flat screen TV, and a cozy sleeping gallery with two beds. We can accommodate 3 guests. The kitchen comes equipped with a stove with a glass ceramic range, fridge, microwave oven, plates, cups, glasses, silverware, pots and pans and various kitchen utensils. Our guests are welcome to cook and feel at home. We are in a quiet neighborhood, nonetheless with lots of flair, only 3 minutes away from bustling Schwedenplatz where you will find the best ice cream in Vienna as well as all the bus, tram and subway connections to Vienna’s more out-of-the-way attractions. Our guest flat is situated just a few minutes’ walk from world-famous heritage sites. You can leisurely stroll through Rotenturmstraße which leads directly to Vienna's most famous landmark, St. Stephen’s Cathedral, and Kärnterstraße, the most beloved and popular street for shopping. Hofburg Imperial Palace (seat of the Habsburg Monarchy) and the famed Lipizzan marching horses, the State Opera House, the Burg Theater and the English-language Theater in Vienna are nearby. Don’t miss the stunningly well-preserved marble museums such as The Art History Museum and directly across The Natural History Museum, the Albertina Museum, famed Cafe Central where Leon Trotsky and famous writers would debate and play chess. Don’t miss strolling through all the gorgeous, well-tended parks: Stadtpark, Volksgarten (Rose bushes galore!), Burggarten (Butterfly House) and Augarten with the famous Augarten palace where the Vienna Boys' Choir (Wiener Sängerknaben) and the Augarten porcelain manufactory are located. Enjoy a break at one of the countless coffee shops and restaurants (everything from old-style Gerstner, Griensteidl or Demel to modern-day Starbucks and McDonalds). Numerous tourist and souvenir shops are along your way. When you are tired from walking around, continue your tour in one of Vienna’s famed-Fiaker tours (horse-drawn carriages) with guide to enjoy Vienna in grand old-style. Our holiday apartment is best and most strategically located for walking around and discovering the most beautiful spots of the city. We are also in walking distance from the Viennese Prater with its large amusement park, the Riesenrad (Ferris Wheel) and the Hauptallee (main avenue) lined with chestnut trees. We are also a stone’s throw away from famed Karmeliter Market, a trendy open-air fruit and vegetable market, with a vegetarian restaurant, bakeries, coffee shops, etc. Right outside the apartment is a small park with a playground for children (Sperberpark) and a spacious underground parking garage (for a fee). Guest access You have your own personal entry and 100% access to the holiday apartment, which is its own independent unit. The flat is just 3 steps off ground-level so there's no need to wait for crowded elevators or lug luggage up long Viennese staircases. Easy in, easy out! Other things to note For business travelers and concert/opera goers: An iron & ironing board are available!
