Residence des Alpes D run by Mountain Highs, is a super 3* apartment sleeping up to 5 people, situated right in the centre of Morzine, with views from the 3 balconies over the Dranse river to the historic Savoyard church opposite, and to Avoriaz perched high up on the cliffs beyond. Bookings run Saturday to Saturday during the peak winter and summer seasons, and we can accommodate shorter stays (min 4 nights) at other times. The space The apartment was created when an historic building (the Hotel des Alpes, built around 1800) was renovated in 2004 and converted into 8 luxury standard apartments. We also manage apartment H (2nd floor, sleeps 8-9). This apartment is on the main floor, with entrance straight off the lobby. The ground floor is all open plan, with a comfortable sofa, 2 armchairs, a dining table, and kitchen with all the equipment you could need for self-catering. There's also a WC on this level. At the front is a huge balcony to relax on (and people-watch!) Upstairs are the two bedrooms, both with balconies: one is a king with ensuite shower / WC, and the other is a super-king (2 singles fixed together which can be made up as single beds) with ensuite bathroom / WC. Please note, we have a pierrade / raclette machine available for your use in this building. Guest access Each apartment has ONE exterior (non-allocated) chained parking space next to the building, and a secure ski & boot locker at ground level. Please note that the fireplace is not useable. Other things to note Please note there's only one parking space for this apartment. Any additional cars usually have to be parked 5 minutes' walk away in the Carrefour car park, or in the underground car park close by, at car owners' expense. WHAT'S INCLUDED: Winter ski season (Dec 14 - April 17): bedlinen, towels and end of stay cleaning are included. The Rest of the year: (April 17 - Dec 14): bedlinen and towels are included. End of stay cleaning is payable locally and costs €70. SUMMER BOOKINGS: We are part of the superb Multipass offer, which means that our guests are able to use some leisure facilities in the whole of the Portes du Soleil for just €3 per person per day including the Morzine indoor and outdoor swimming pool complex. Please note that this apartment is not suitable for mountain bikers or road bikers, as there is no storage for bikes, and they are absolutely not permitted inside the building or on the balcony. IMPORTANT: DAMAGE DEPOSIT. We take a €300 Damage Deposit prior to your arrival. This can be paid via credit / debit card or bank transfer (Revolut preferred). We refund this deposit within 3 days of your departure. It is also possible to pay by French cheque. We will hold the Damage deposit until we have received the keys back and have been able to properly check the property. Please note the deposit rises to €500 for summer mountain biking groups and at our discretion.
