The kitchen, dining and living room are all open to each other creating a bright and sunny atmosphere. There are many large windows which allow a lake view from every room in the house. Kitchen has been updated with granite counter tops. Just steps away from the front door, you are sure to enjoy swimming, sunning, fishing, bird and boat watching and all of the activities that lend itself to lake living. The house has a great swim area, a large swim dock and a deck on the front of the house that faces the lake. You don't want to miss the sunrises and sunsets from the deck of the Captain's House. They are truly breathtaking and yes, you can see both from the deck and the dock. Hot Springs National Park has been known as Arkansas' premiere resort town since Hernando Desoto. (That's a long time!) Attractions to see include: the National Park, Magic Springs Amusement and Water Park, The Belle of Hot Springs Riverboat, Garvan Woodland Gardens, Oaklawn Race Track and Casino, Mid America Science Museum, The 5 Star Theater, Gangster Museum, Pirate Cove Mini Golf, and shopping in our beautiful downtown. Hot Springs is also a great place take a bath and massage, hike, horseback ride, shop, golf, eat--great restaurants, and of course.....relax.
