A pretty 19th-century detached cottage set within a large rolling garden with shallow stream and summerhouse overlooking meadowland and stunning views over the National Trust medieval village of Lacock. This period cottage includes a double aspect living room, dining room, well-equipped kitchen and utility room, double and twin bedrooms with comfy beds, bathroom with oval bath and fitted shower. There is also an additional bed in the summerhouse if required. The space Located on Bowden Hill the cottage is a 15 minute walk downhill or a 2-minute drive from medieval Lacock village famous for its frequent appearance in numerous film and tv productions including Harry Potter, Wolf Hall, Cranford, Downton Abbey, Poldark and Pride and Prejudice. Guest access All areas are for guest's use. We welcome dogs but the garden is not fully dog-proofed. The decked area outside of the kitchen door can be fully enclosed to provide an enclosed area to prevent young children or dogs from reaching the shallow stream if required.
