KMR Villa

KMR Villa, Kotagiri, located in Nilgiris, the Western Ghats, is considered to be one of the finest hill stations in India (just 90 minutes drive from Coimbatore Airport). The house offers stunning views from every room including the famous dolphin nose of Conoor. Amenities include: fully furnished house, breakfast, well equipped kitchen and plenty of parking space. You can also enjoy dining outdoors/indoors, go for a trek, a walk or just relax! If you get lucky, you can also spot wildlife! The space KMR Villa(Named after my grandfather) was completed in 2011 and is in the midst of nature and Serenity. The house consists of 3 bedrooms, 2 living rooms, a kitchen, 3 bathrooms, two balconies and a tea estate. The House has been built with a lot of love and passion. We have listed it on Airbnb as a tribute to my late grandfather; he was a civil engineer and this was his last project. Through Airbnb we wish to continue his legacy and help spread the joy of staying at KMR Villa. It is two kilometres from Catherine Waterfalls and it is a lovely trek from the house to get to the falls! We wish that all our guests can create beautiful memories at KMR Villa! Please note: The Villa is nestled deep within the embrace of nature, and you can come across insects, and the excessive rains in the area contribute to its aged look. Due to the property being in the midst of nature can also encourage the appearance of mosquitoes, ants, or other small insects. Although we use regular pest control services, we cannot guarantee that an occasional insect won't enter our home, nor can we offer refunds if this occurs. We do everything possible to prevent this situation and kindly ask our guests to help by keeping the doors closed, disposing of trash properly, and storing food responsibly. Also note, we have two CCTV cameras located in the outside of the property: Camera 1: Under the roof on the front outside of the wall facing the road Camera 2: On the right hand side outside wall facing viewing deck and stairs going down Guest access The entire house, as per the listing is accessible by the guests. The kitchen is fully equipped and guests can use it to prepare their own meals if required. Please note: Shanta is our additional help as well as cook - please let us know 48 hours in advance if you wish to avail services of the cook. There is also Zomato available and home delivery from the restaurant Tandoori Hut - great food and service! Note: We would love to offer bonfire , but at the moment it is banned in the area. BBQ can however still be arranged. Other things to note Breakfast will be provided on all days. The kitchen is stocked with basic ingredients that the guests can use, and if they wish to cook, additional ingredients can be arranged by placing an order through Babu, our lovely care taker. We do provide Wifi, however, since it is in the mountains, the signal can sometimes be off, and weather conditions can be a hindrance too. Note: We would love to offer bonfire , but at the moment it is banned in the area. BBQ can however still be arranged.
