Le Moulin de l'Odon, in the heart of Normandy

Located in a green setting on the edge of a small river, the Moulin de l'Odon is an independent accommodation combining charm and comfort. Completely renovated and equipped with quality amenities, it can accommodate up to 4 people. Ideally located at the gates of Caen (7 km), the Moulin de l'Odon offers easy access to many tourist sites for day trips: landing beaches, Bayeux Tapestry, Caen Memorial, Falaise Castle, Suisse Normande, Festyland... The space Adjacent to our main residence, the cottage is accessible through a separate entrance. With a surface area of 60 m2, it consists of: - a large living room with fully equipped open kitchen (oven, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, induction stove – new equipment). The living room overlooks the courtyard on one side and a private terrace and small garden with river views on the other; - two bedrooms: a master bedroom with river view (140 x 190 cm double bed, large built-in closet), a double bedroom (2 bunk beds of 90 x 190 cm, dresser) with courtyard view; - a bathroom with 160 cm shower, sink, toilet, washing machine. The entrance to the vacation rental is through the living room on the courtyard side. A few steps lead to a hallway serving the two bedrooms and the bathroom. The corridor can be closed by a door, preventing young children from accessing the steps. Parking is free and secure. Barbecue available (equipment provided). Sheets and towels are provided. Baby crib and high chair available on request. Free WiFi. Guests also have shared access to the 4000 m2 landscaped garden maintained in eco-grazing by our sheep and fully secured. Guest access Located below a residential area, the accommodation benefits from the proximity of many shops (supermarket, bakery, pharmacy, post office...) within walking distance. Parking is free and secure. Numerous walks or bike rides are possible in the area. Other things to note We will be happy to advise you on things to do and see in the area according to your wishes: land, sea, discovery of historical heritage or other!
