Our home is situated right on the State Park in the hills of Malibu at the end of quiet and private cul de sac; the only sounds you will hear are the screeches of hawks, hoots of owls, and howling coyotes, among other indigenous wildlife. Our home is fully upgraded, well kept, well appointed, welcoming and comfortable. Our home has an open floor-plan, unobstructed incredibly expansive views, amazing outdoor living spaces including fireplace, bbq, pool, jacuzzi, large outdoor couches, outdoor dining table and a variety of private sitting areas. Truly one of a kind resort like feel, and only 15 minutes from the beach and restaurants and shopping, and 40 minutes from venues like the Hollywood Bowl, Universal Studios, and a lot more. Our home has direct access (literally right out the back) to incredible hiking and mountain biking trails throughout Topanga State Park in the Santa Monica Mountains. The home has a living room with fireplace, family room with large couch and big screen television, dining room, office (with 2 work stations - can be easily converted into a 3rd bedroom), 2 full bedrooms and bathrooms and a brand new and very comfortable queen pull out couch (in the living room with fireplace). The home also features a newly remodeled gourmet kitchen, pool and jacuzzi, outdoor fireplace, built in gas BBQ, and many unique outdoor seating areas including a beautiful outdoor dining table for 8. The home comes fully furnished with everything needed to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable with central air/heat, washer and dryer, high-speed internet with zoned Wi-Fi and Satellite TV. The master bedroom has luxurious California King bed, 58" Flat Screen HD TV with Direct TV, DVR, DVD and two lighted night-stands, remote controlled overhead lighting and a large dresser. The master bathroom includes a shower, bath and walk in closet. The views from the master and bathroom are breathtaking, with unobstructed views of Topanga State Park. The bedroom has a large 10' glass sliding door seamlessly integrating the stunning backyard living spaces. The 2nd bedroom has a full sized bed and single trundle pull-out, with dresser and private closet. The home also features a full office with two chairs, printers, etc., and places to connect your computer to monitors should you like to get some work done, or simply check in. This room can also be equipped with a Queen size bed as needed to be easily converted into a 3rd bedroom. The gourmet kitchen overlooks the pool and Topanga state park (as does most of the house). You can literally watch deer graze in the adjoining meadow while preparing a delicious meal. The newly remodeled kitchen includes high-end Thermador stainless steel appliances; a large refrigerator, 6 burner gas range and oven, dishwasher, Meile combo microwave convection over, double wide copper "farm" sink and wine/beverage fridge. You can enjoy your meal indoors on the 8-12 person dining table, or outdoor living area with rustic teak 8-person dining table while soaking in the sunset playing out across commanding views of the Santa Monica mountains. The Kitchen also has large custom surfaces with seating for 4 to hang out and chat while cooking, or for a quick breakfast before heading out for a hike, bike, etc. The Family room has a large comfortable couch with 75" Flat Screen HD TV with Direct TV, DVR, built in surround sound (and amplifier supports outdoor speakers throughout), Wii and BlueRay DVD Player. The views from this area of the home are also amazing, and with Plantation Shutters easy to reduce light for TV viewing if desired. The open floor plan seamlessly connects this room to the kitchen and outdoors, and great for hanging out. The Living room including a new comfortable "shabby chic" style couch, which easily pulls-out to become a queen bed fit for a king and queen. This room also has a gas fireplace, benched seating and beautiful outdoor views. The home is located in a very quiet and safe neighborhood. Guest access Guests have access to everything in the home. The only non-access is the garage, however there is more than ample parking on the connected driveway.
