VILLA MARIA

Villa Maria is a detached house in the quiet farming village of Gorjuše. Within the Triglav national park between lakes Bled and Bohinj. Solar energy to provide its own electricity and surplus feeds into the grid. Electric car charger available. A wonderful outdoor space, kitchen, 4 bedrooms with balconies. Four bathrooms, 2 lounges, sauna , wet room and laundry room. A lovely house for families or friends to escape too all year round to enjoy the nature, hiking and beauty of Slovenia The space The outdoor area has an enclosed back patio with table and chairs leading to a barbecue and lawn for the children. There is also table tennis. All the bedrooms and kitchen lead onto balconies to enjoy the views of the mountains and forests. There are 2 main bedrooms each with a large double bed and en suite bathrooms with showers. The third bedroom has a bunk bed and single bed for 3 people and the fourth bedroom has twin beds. There is a further bathroom on this floor with a bath. The main entrance area leads into a hallway and to the lovely open plan kitchen, dining area and lounge. The kitchen is fully fitted with a large fridge, freezer, hob, oven and dishwasher. There is all that you need to cook your own meals! The dining area has a wooden table with a bench and chairs. The table can extend to seat 9 people. There is a further table to dine at with benches and chairs outside on the balcony. The lounge has a wood burning fireplace for the chilly evenings and a corner lounge suite. There are large comfy bean bags to fall back into and relax! A further bathroom with a bath and shower above it, is also on this level. There is a second lounge/games room with a further television, dvd player and dart board. This room leads to the covered patio area which has table tennis and table and chairs. In the basement area there is a sauna to relax those muscles after a hard day of skiing or hiking. A wet room with toilet and shower and a separate area with washing machine and tumble dryer. There is parking for four cars. Other things to note This is a farming village so there is in the summer months cows in the fields so please be aware of electric wire fences that the farmers put up. Tourist tax is payable in cash at checkout. Adults €2,50 and children aged (7-17 )€1,25 per night.
