Edinburgh Friendly Room

Our house is in a quiet neighbourhood in the periphery, but very well connected with public transport from the airport, train station, city centre. The room is spacious and comfortable - WiFi included. There's a single bed, desk and chair, wardrobe, armchair, small sofa. I'm Silvia and my partner is Gary. We are friendly, book and film lovers. I'm Italian, while Gary will be happy to share his knowledge of Scottish history if you so desire. We have a 19 year old cat called Satin. The space We're friendly and relaxed, happy to find out information to help your stay, open minded. We have lots of books and DVDs. The room is comfortable and of good size, on the first floor of a semi-detached house in the periphery. We are well connected by bus. Guest access Kitchen (just clean after yourself :), bathroom (of course), garden (lovely if the weather is good), living room. Sadly we can't accommodate guests with impaired mobility because our guest room is upstairs. During your stay Gary and I are always happy to give advice if needed. One of us is almost always home :) Other things to note NOTE: FROM 24th JULY 2026, EDINBURGH CITY COUNCIL WILL APPLY A CITY VISIT LEVY TO ANY VISITOR. WE DON'T KNOW YET HOW THIS WILL BE APPLIED BY AIRBNB, BUT MAKE NOTE THAT A LEVY WILL BE APPLIED TO YOUR FIRST 5 DAYS OF STAY ( 5% ON EACH DAY). WE WILL CONTACT YOU AT TIME OF BOOKING WITH THE RELEVANT INFORMATION. Please do note that we have a 20 year old cat. Please, don't book if you have allergies, keep in mind that the cat has access to all the rooms in the house. Of course, you can close the door to your room and gently make her leave the room if you so wish. Make sure you're comfortable with normal cat behaviour.
