Casa da Eva is situated in our picturesque estate. The fruit farm and vineyard with its winery provide the context for a quiet stay in rural calm and also as a springboard to explore the magnificent Douro valley. The old stone cottage has been renovated with amenities for a comfortable self catering holiday. Accommodation comprises of a large dining & living room, spacious kitchen, upstairs with two bedrooms and a full bathroom. Enjoy the outdoor seating areas and views and walk the farm. The space The estate occupies a favoured position on the steeply inclined hillside rising above the left bank of the River Douro; it dates back to the early eighteenth century and has been continuously passed on within the family. The stone walled terraces for the vines, holding the soil and resisting erosion, lie between 200m and 350m above sea level. In addition to wine grapes we enjoy a multitude of seasonal fruits - pears, oranges, lemons, cherries, figs, grapefruit, raspberries, blackberries...to name a few! Guest access Visitors are welcome to walk within the estate and there are opportunities for longer walks in the vicinity. According to the season, visitors may join in the work of the estate.
