Barefoot Rusty Surf Cabin in Cornwall

A former shipping container lovingly converted into a spacious relaxed retreat for two, with an option to sleep four. Rusty has been extended and is twice the size of a normal shipping container. Less than a mile from Poldhu Cove beach and cafe, popular with surfers and beach lovers. Barefoot Rusty is set in an aonb, with parking. The space Barefoot Rusty sits in our seven acre meadow (to the left of our 2 safari tents) with country views and access to the sea view meadow and fire-pit. An open plan living area with a wood-fired stove and oven, a double platform bed and 2 single day beds A spacious kitchen area with sink, fridge, electric kettle, toaster and a single induction hob. An ensuite hot water shower, heated towel rail and separate wash-room with flushing WC. An outside decking area with seats and a double hammock, your own bbq firepit, please bring your own charcoal. There is no wifi but mobile and 4G signal is good. Well behaved dogs are welcome (up to 2 dogs) with an extra charge of £25 per per dog per stay. Guest access From the parking-area, it is a short wheelbarrow walk through the mown path, ensuring the meadows remain peacefully car-free. Other things to note Rusty was lucky enough to be included in series 3 of George Clarke’s Amazing Spaces! And for all you George Clarke fans we even have a signed wall in Rusty’s kitchen!
