Kendal Cottage Hideaway

Perfect for couples and families, this cosy cottage is situated on a quiet lane in Greenside, one of the oldest parts of Kendal. The area has a distinct village vibe, with it's very own green. The town centre is only a 5 min walk away, with it's wide range of shops, bars and restaurants. The location is also great for easy access to Windermere and the Lake District. Please note no pets & no smoking. The space This end-terraced cottage is full of character and packed with traditional features, including an exposed lakeland stone wall, beams, latched stable doors and an open staircase. Kitchen: Fully equipped with high-end appliances, the kitchen is bright and modern. You'll find a Nespresso machine, washer/dryer, small dishwasher, oven, hob, microwave and fridge/freezer. Living/dining room: A stunning room, with exposed Lakeland stone running the full length of the wall. An oak dining table seats 4, and there is a cosy log-effect electric fire in the stone fireplace. The smart TV has both the Netflix and Amazon Prime Video apps, and there is also an Amazon Echo (Alexa). Bedroom 1: The master bedroom boasts a beautiful cast iron fireplace, double bed, a dressing table and a double fitted wardrobe with drawers and hanging space. A selection of pillows are provided for your comfort. Bedroom 2: This room has a solid bunk bed, suitable for both adults and children, a chest of drawers and a hanging rail. Bathroom: The bathroom contains WC, washbasin and a bath with over-bath shower. Outside to the front and rear there are small seating areas. The rear patio is gated and completely private. Children are very welcome, and a travel cot and a highchair are available upon request. Please note that the cottage is not fitted with stair gates. There is no parking space on the cottage premises, however a parking permit is provided for use on the roadside. All bed linen, bath towels and kitchen towels are included. Fibre broadband is installed at the cottage; the wifi code is displayed in the lounge. Guests have full use of the cottage. Sorry no pets. Strictly no smoking.
