Located in a safe area of an inner Bangkok suburb, about 30 minitues from Suvannabhumi airport and less than 30 minitues from city centre. This poolside villa guest suite is part of an exquisite classic Thai house, built with traditional craftsmanship with (now rare) hard wood and designed to take advantage of the breeze. Surrounded by lush tropical garden also fish pond and sounds of variety of birds feature its natural and cool atmosphere. It is composed of two separate units: the villa, and guest suite, which face each other with the pool treated with a water- ionisation sysyem in between. The first unit (villa) is a two storey guesthouse. It features curve steep wooden structure ceiling covered by natural clay tiles. Upstairs has one bedroom (with king-sized bed and en-suite bathroom) plus a sofa bed for an extra guest. Downstairs features an open-air kitchenette/dining, and open shower/WC set alongside the patio with sun loungers in front of the pool. The second unit (guest suite) is a spacious comfortable ground-floor room opposite to the villa, surrounded by long wooden veranda fronted by the pool. It is furnished with a king-sized bed, a single bed plus a small en-suite bath-room. Both rooms are completed with expected amenities. A group of guests up to 6, will enjoy it's privacy and day-long relaxation around the pool. It is a unique hideaway place from the busy streets. It will be a special experience living in this unique Thai house in Bangkok. Guests have full access to the pool and area immediately surrounding the two rooms. However access to the small storage-room and pool-equipment room is forbidden. The pool is private to my house, and is available for use during day time; night time swimming is forbidden. Guests access to the units via its separate entrance gate. I live in the opposite side of the same house. I will be around periodically, but you can message me any time if there's anything you need. My housekeeper works around the house on weekdays -- you can use his phone to contact me if you need to. It is located in an old and established gated community (with 24-hour manned security) in an inner Bangkok suburb. It’s away from busy roads alongside a sizeable garden with large trees and a canal produces a natural and tranquil environment. There are also many birds, squirrels and occasional frogs and turtles in and around the garden and canal areas. Throughout the day there can be birds chirping, frogs croaking, and the occasional barking of dogs from our neighbors’ gardens. Inside the community, there is clubhouse offers a restaurant and sport facilities. Walk to a public park with a basketball hoop, local groceries provided all basic necessities. Convenience stores, super market, street food restaurants serving local food, drug store, etc. are also nearby. Transport from airport: • Use public taxi from airports is best. We are about 30 mins from Suvannabhumi airport and about 45 mins from Donmuang airport. • Guests with little luggage may use Airport rail link from Suvarnabhumi airport and stop at Ramkhamhaeng station, then take a short taxi ride to here. Transport from my place: • ByTaxi: The taxi-hailing app."Grab" is convenient to get a taxi picking up in front of the house. Motorbikes are also available via Grab. And of course, guests can walk out to get a taxi, if they prefer, we are 1 km. from the nearest frequently trafficked area. • By BTS Sky train or Airport Rail Link: We are about 10 mins drive from Onnut BTS station and from Ramkamhaeng Airport Rail Link station • Canal Transport: Adventurous guests may use, the "Khlong Saen Seap Express Boat", which is about 10 minutes drive to the nearest pier: Sapan Khlong-Tan pier.
