Family cottage in stunning village/Jurassic coast

Welcome to The Star Inn, a large cozy family home, former pub , in a beautiful Dorset village. Front and rear garden with dining deck overlooking the River Brit. Hot tub. A peaceful family space to enjoy with great walks on your doorstep , a park and pub with stunning views a 15 minute walk away. The Jurassic coast is just 5 miles away atWest Bay . Charmouth , Eype and Lyme Regis a short drive. Would suit a couple or 2 adults with 2 children . Resident very gentle and loving cat called Dipstick The space We love to let others enjoy our happy family home in the summer holidays. The house does have an independant extremely loving cat called Dipstick so we cannot allow visiting pets at all. It is a large cottage with flagstone floors and a front and rear garden. The garden has a low trickling river running through it and overlooks a stunning meadow. We have a dining area in the garden set on a deck to enjoy the views. Because it is a family home we should have everything you need for a great holiday . Books and games , a large TV , a Lazy spa hot tub in the garden. And because it is a family home it may have some decor imperfections. We have a great family pub up the hill in Waytown called the Hare and Hounds , a 20 minute walk or 5 minutes in the car. There is a park in the village , stunning walks without having to get in the car ! The local beach is West Bay , a great traditional harbour filled with boats , pubs and restaurants. We are right on the Jurassic coast so you can explore Charmouth with its fossils , Eype and Lyme Regis. The market town Bridport has markets Wednesdays and Saturdays , two long streets full of all sorts of antiques , clothes and food. We are letting a King size bedroom and a twin next door perfect for children . We have one bathroom with a large standalone bath and gold shower mixer , but no stand up shower. You can laze in the bath , open the double doors and gaze out at the field ! We do not have stair gates on the stairs I am afraid as our children are now teens. Guest access There is parking just outside the house , the key will be left for you. The house is on two floors. There will be a housekeeper on hand in the village that will get everything ready for you and be on hand if you need . Other things to note Resident cat will love the company! No pets please at all. Bedlinen is provided but please bring your own towels Children in hot tub must be fully supervised. There is a bank on the river and steps down but again please take care with young children. My kids paddle in it but always wear wellies and with an adult. There are fish and if you get up really early Otters sometimes visit!
