Welcome to the place where the wilderness meets the wellness: the AlpsWellness Lodge, a fully equipped chalet with indoor sauna and outdoor HotSpring SPA! Located in the hamlet of Casa Zanni in Falmenta, a small village in the Italian Alps near the Swiss border, this is the perfect location for a stay in the Alps! The Lodge is a stand-alone house with 3 levels: - on the lower level there is the Cantina EnoCult, an original cellar craved in the rock of the mountain. - On the main floor there is the entrance of the Lodge with the kitchen-living area and the bathroom. Nearby the entrance door there is a small storage room with the laundry machine and some cleaning items. - On the upper floor inside the Lodge there is the open space bedrooms area, with 2 double beds. The outdoor garden has 3 levels, the lower one, beside the cellar door, is the solarium, perfect for sunbathing until late afternoon; the middle one is a strip of grass with some fruit trees and a strawberries plater; the higher one, outside of the Lodge main floor, there is a stone table for eating out and the outdoor wellness area. Wellness Facilities | #AlpsWellnessMood Indoor: In the bathroom you find the Sauna (up to 4 people together) and the chromotherapy shower with river stones floor. The new Dyson Supersonic will enhance your wellness experience! Outdoor: HotSpring Flair SPA, available all year round! Seasonally available, a shower with river stones floor and Kneipp tanks with river stones floor (usually from May to October). Wood Platform on the upper garden, perfect for Yoga (2 Yoga Mats available in the Lodge). The lower garden is the best spot for sunbathing (one LaFuma deck-chair per person always provided in summer). The Lodge is immersed in an ancient fruit garden (with ancient apple and pear trees), a truly natural experience for your senses. In the external garden, during summer season you will have the chance to taste the best organic vegetables as they will grow directly outside the Lodge in our Veggie Garden! Kitchen facilities: The kitchen is equipped with modern tools: - induction hob - fridge with a 3 stores freezer - Bauknecht combi-oven that works also as a microwave: you can use the "CRISP" function to cook healthy food in less time, check all the "CRISP" recipes online before arrival! (one "CRISP" dish provided) - Extractor fan The kitchen is also equipped with dishware, cutlery, glasses (water, wine, flûtes), cookware, tableware; you will find anything you need to cook and eat&drink! For dining inside, you'll fine a wooden table with two chairs. If you are more than two guests you can bring downstairs the chair you need from the bedrooms area (total of 4 chairs in the Lodge). We do also provide great organic coffee, a grinder and a Moka pot for a real Italian coffee making experience (if you do not know how to use the Moka pot, don’t worry, I’ll give you all the detailed instructions). #ThinkGreen and #PlasticFree: A Grohe Blue Pure water filter has been installed in the kitchen, for an extra purified drinkable water! #PlasticFree Basic cooking ingredients are always available for free (tuscan EVO oil, salt, pepper, sugar, mixed herbs) and also a basic Italian food kit is always available for free in the lower breakfast bar drawer (first choice pasta and tomato sauce) in case you arrive late in the evening and have not got any food to eat. Living area: The kitchen and living area are an open space taking the most of the main floor. The 32' Samsung TheFrame TV is there for you to stream all your favourite on demand movies and series! The high speed WiFi service is provided by Eolo, an Italian startup that gives internet access through a dish antenna, giving high speed connection also in lost places. The WiFi signal is good in the whole house and in the external area. Wi-Fi signal is enhanced in the Garden with a special repeater. A pellet heater is available, easy to use (instructions provided), and there is also a fireplace for the cold autumn and winter nights! Bathroom area: Bathroom is on the main floor and is equipped with a Sauna with chromotherapy lights, chromotherapy shower with river stones floor, sink, bidet and toilet. We do provide shower gel & shampoo, hands soap and intimate soap from organic&bio source; as this Lodge is environment friendly we ask you to use only these biodegradable products for cleaning and washing purposes (feel free to use your products if from bio sources!). For your hair wellness, we introduced the new Dyson Supersonic! Bedrooms area: The upper floor is an open space with 2 double beds. The bedroom 1 (on the left coming upstairs) has chromotherapy bulb lights and a wide window looking at east on the outdoor wellness area; during autumn and winter there is a great view of the valley while in summer you will enjoy the fresh view of the persimmon tree leaves. The bedroom 2 (on the right coming upstairs) has a window looking south-west, fresher during summer, with a great view of the mountains of the valley. If coming in 2 guests sleeping together, we ask you to choose one bed only for your stay. Both rooms has a chair, a Ikea Kallax furniture and a birch wood coat rack. Feel free to use any empty drawer under the bed or any empty Kallax box (a couple of drawers and Kallax boxes has my stuff but you can use any of the spare ones). AlpsWellness Kit & Relax features To any guest we provide the AlpsWellness Kit made up of a bathrobe, Bath tower, face and guest towel, eyes mask for sleeping. One Sauna towel per guest is provided in the bathroom under the sink. One shower-floor towel is provided in the shower. 2 Yoga Mats are available in the Lodge for your Namaste moment. For a moment of calm, you’ll find a selection of teas and infusion on the shelf above the indoor table for you to enjoy free. In the house you’ll find a Yankee Candle tart melter, feel free to light it up for an ultimate relaxing experience (tea lights provided in the higher breakfast bar drawer). In the Sauna you can relax with some music from your favourite playlist using the Onite Bluetooth player (instruction for synchronization provided). On the bathroom window you’ll find a real Tibetan bell for an ultimate relaxation moment in the Sauna! To complete the wellness routine, at your disposal you'll find also 2 Yoga Mats that you can use indoor or outside on the wood platform. We are eBike friendly, reason why we have 2 sockets outside to make easier the charging process (sockets available also in the cellar). Storage room: Nearby the main entrance door you find the storage room with the laundry machine, drying rack, iron and iron board, and some brooms (internal and external use). You will also find here the new Dyson v10 vacuum! EnoCult Cellar: On the lower floor, the EnoCult cellar awaits you for the ultimate cooling relax experience; enjoy a glass of great wine (better if from Piedmont!) while chilling in the fresh air of this original rock-craved stall. A Weber BBQ is available for our guests! Sustainable Holidays: In 2022 We have installed solar panels on the Lodge roof and a LG Battery to enhance our energetic production! #SustainableHolidays #GreenVacations A new Grohe Pure Blue filter gives you fully drinkable and filtered water directly in the kitchen! Enforced Cleaning procedures We have strong cleaning procedures; every kitchen facility and bathroom facility will be sanitized before you arrival; all the towels and bed sheets will be washed with antibacterial detergents. Light switches, doorknobs, remote control and faucet handles are also sanitized before arrival. Sofa and mattresses are cleaned with a special machine that kills all bacterials with UV-light. All the house is constantly cleaned with specific detergents in order to guarantee your safety. All our procedures follow the guidelines of the AirBnb cleaning programme. LGBTQ guests are more than welcome! No smoking is allowed indoor. Smoking is permitted outdoor. In respect of any guest possible allergy and for the Lodge architecture, no pets are allowed. Please do not send any request if you would need to bring your pet with you. Due to the special design of the house (open stairs inside and open railings in the bedrooms area) we cannot accommodate children. Please do not send any request if you would need to come with children. The AlpsWellness Lodge is always rented as a full property so all the house and the Wellness Area will be for you only. The Sauna and Whirlpool use is under your doctor approval, we do not take any responsibility for improper use; a sign with correct use directions is displayed in the SPA area, we assume that using the Wellness facilities you read carefully all the rules described. The Lodge has several stairs both outside and inside (approx 25 steps to reach the main entrance from street level, and approx 10 steps inside to go up to the bedrooms area). In summer, for stays of more than 3 days, I will need to make some maintenance to the pool and the garden so, upon check-in, we will arrange how to manage it without disturbing your stay and guaranteeing your full privacy. ————————————————— L’AlpsWellness Lodge si trova in frazione Casa Zanni, a 400 metri dal piccolo borgo rurale di Falmenta, un piccolo paesino montano immerso nel verde. Un piccolo podere con antichi alberi da frutta, erba di campo e fiori profumati si estende di fianco al Lodge, per la delizia delle api di famiglia che producono un ottimo miele. Nessun tipo di concime chimico o trattamento viene utilizzato nello spirito wellness. Il Lodge si sviluppa su 3 piani, in quello inferiore si trova la Cantina EnoCult, nel piano intermedio principale si trova la zona living e il bagno wellness interno con sauna e doccia cromoterapica, al piano superiore mansardato si trova la zona letto open-space. Di fianco all’ingresso principale c’è un piccolo ripostiglio con lavatrice, stendibiancheria e alcune scope. Posti letto: Nell’area mansardata open-space sono presenti due zone letto dotate di un letto matrimoniale 160x200 ciascuna. Servizi Wellness e Relax: Cantina Enocult con libreria enogastonomica, sauna interna, doccia interna con cromoterapia e fondo massaggiante con ciottoli di fiume, doccia di reazione esterna per doccia scozzese, vasca benessere per pediluvio con doppia vasca per trattamento Kneipp, solarium e area relax; 2 materassini da Yoga completano l'offerta wellness, perfetti per essere utilizzati all'esterno sulla piattaforma in legno con vista sulla valle. Nel livello superiore del giardino è stata inaugurata nel 2021 la nuova Pool Terrace con la piscina idromassaggio HotSpring modello FLAIR, che è disponibile tutto l'anno. E' inoltre presente un piccolo orto a vostra disposizione, quindi in base alla stagione potreste avere a disposizione fragole, mirtilli, pomodori, zucchine, insalata, erbe aromatiche e molto altro! NB: le strutture esterne di idroterapia in linea di massima sono disponibili da metà maggio a metà ottobre, mentre la nuova piscina idromassaggio HotSpring è disponibile tutto l'anno. Dotazioni tecniche: Pompa di calore (80 litri di acqua a 50°), purificatore dell’acqua del rubinetto della cucina Gorhe, piano cottura a induzione, forno combinato con microonde, lavatrice e stendipanni, ferro da stiro e asse da stiro, TV led, Wi-fi, riscaldamento a pellet, camino a legna schermato, videosorveglianza esterna. Sono presenti 2 prese elettriche esterne perfette per il caricamento di eBike (in caso di maltempo è possibile caricare le eBike anche all'interno della Cantina EnoCult). Un sistema di pannelli solari e batteria d’accumulo LG è stato installato nel 2022 per garantire una maggiore indipendenza energetica nell’ottica di una sempre maggiore sostenibilità. Nel rispetto completo di tutti gli ospiti con possibili allergie e per la struttura del Lodge (tra cui superfici in legno facilmente rovinabili), non sono ammessi animali domestici. Per il particolare design interno (scala aperta e ringhiera aperta nella parte inferiore nell'area notte) non possiamo accettare prenotazioni con bambini. Non é permesso fumare all’interno del Lodge, é però possibile fumare all’esterno. L’uso della sauna e della vasca idromassaggio HotSpring è subordinato al parere del proprio medico; in loco sono presenti indicazioni specifiche con le regole per l'utilizzo della SPA e della sauna, leggetele attentamente prima di utilizzare i servizi wellness. Il Lodge non ha persiane o tapparelle, ci sono delle tende semi oscuranti e viene sempre fornita una mascherina per gli occhi. Il Lodge ha diverse scale (circa 25 gradini dal livello strada all'ingresso principale e circa 10 gradini interni per salire all'area notte). Nelle vicinanze (in valle) sono presenti alcuni ristoranti/trattorie, altrimenti a Cannobio sono disponibili numerosissime proposte.
