Maggie A-frame is a beautiful wooden A-frame house situated in Horseshoe Bay on tropical Magnetic Island. The island itself is within the World Heritage listed Great Barrier Reef Marine Park, easily located by a short ferry ride from Townsville, Queensland. Surrounded by palm trees and mango trees, Maggie A-frame houses five lucky guests – with a hammock and a private garden filled with birds and tropical plants. The space Welcome to Maggie's most famous A-frame! She's freshly renovated and ready to go! Island chill vibes, plants, cane furniture, fairy lights and a whole lot of love! Upstairs is the romanic A-frame triangle room for two, an upstairs lounge/hang space/bed for a fifth person, and a downstairs bedroom for two. Downstairs we also have the lounge, the kitchen, the bathroom and a deck for sundowners. The garden is fully fenced and there’s plenty of free parking outside too! Say g'day to Frank the local koala across there road and an array of fun birds. Guest access The entire A frame house and the large private front garden is all yours. The back deck is a shared laundry facility so unlock the back door for access when needed : ) Other things to note Shower towels and bedding is included in the booking, so bring your swimmers and beach towel and you’re good to go. We provide tea, instant coffee, salt and pepper, oil, toilet paper, laundry detergent and washing up liquid. Everything else we recommend bringing over or getting from the local supermarket, IGA in Nelly Bay.
