Here, our guests can enjoy nature in total privacy and comfort, in a safe environment for families, children and pets. Casa do Campo was built in the mid-1950s, initially serving as a shelter for mares and donkeys, valuable animals for farming the land. With the abandonment of agriculture in the 1980s, this place became a vacancy. Today, transformed into a cozy and picturesque space, it is the ideal place for those who like direct contact with nature but with comfort and all the amenities. The Álvaro de Campos room is served by huge windows, which gives it immense luminosity and fantastic shades at dusk. This room is served by a fully equipped and functional kitchenette, a comfortable and a small, very cozy bathroom. With the balcony facing west, it becomes a privileged place to spend the late afternoons and to enjoy the sunset in all seasons of the year, and in the summer this entire part is illuminated with wonderful orange tones. This place also invites you to dine on the street, as it has a grill, table and chairs where you can also cool off and enjoy the countryside landscape around you, or even sunbathe, read a book or just swing a little in the hammock. You can stay at home, use the barbecue and make great meals. See in my profile the other listings I have on the same property (Casa do Mar, Casa da Eira and Casa dos Passarinhos) Guest access Guests have a common patio measuring 80 m2 facing south with sun exposure from sunrise to sunset. We also have a traditional penthouse overlooking the sea. We have a fully equipped laundry room where our guests can take care of their clothes. Other things to note We would like to alert our guests that, before booking any of our homes, it is important to be aware that it is a country house, set in the middle of nature. This means that there are wild animals, including insects such as mosquitoes, flies, and ants. We also share the space with several species of birds, both diurnal and nocturnal. You may also be lucky enough to spot other animals that inhabit this rich biodiversity. Finally, the sounds of dogs and cats that are part of the environment around us are a common presence. We want to inform our guests that between the last week of September and the first week of October, about 2 km away from our Quinta, the annual fair in honor of S. Francisco, so when the wind blows from the southwest it can carry the sound of the fair at night. Registration Details 111020/AL
