Roomy Art Deco flat, Fresnaye/Sea Point, Cape Town

Spacious art deco flat (117m2) with wooden floors and large rooms, 2 blocks from the sea front and Sea Point pool, walking distance to shops and restaurants. Great location, close to beaches & public transport. 10 minutes to the centre of Cape Town & V&A Waterfront. The space If you like large rooms, wooden floors and high ceilings this flat is very special. Two large bedrooms with double beds (I only use 100% cotton linen) with hanging and shelf space. There is a fan in each bedroom. There is a bathroom with ball and claw bath and shower in the bath. The toilet is separate. The lounge and dining areas lead into each other. The furniture and fittings are mostly retro. The lounge has a TV with Netflix, but no DSTV/cable channels. There are only 3 flats in the block. It's quiet but very close to the main buzz. The flat is 1st floor - one short flight up. For those concerned about our energy crisis, referred to locally as “loadshedding”: There is an inverter installed, meaning that there is a backup system that keeps Wifi, lights and plug points working during these scheduled blackouts. I can give you the app to download so you always know when they will be happening. There is a portable gas stove and kettle for times when the electric stove and electric kettle can’t be used, as heavy appliances can't be linked to the inverter. Our main gate to the street works off a battery in these situations. Guest access I keep one cupboard locked in the main bedroom (left hand cupboard). I also lock a small room in the front of the flat. It is used as an office and isn't space that guests will need, unless they arrange for this. Other things to note Dishwasher
