A stay at this historic villa is not only a retreat but a chance to immerse yourself in a cultural and historical escape on the beautiful Amalfi Coast. Guest access Guests are able to rent the large first floor of the private villa (approx. 250 sq meters/ 2691 sq foot) and to benefit from all the outdoor spaces, including the large terrace in from of the Villa which enjoys a splendid view of the sea and the coastal town of Vietri sul Mare. Guests will also have exclusive use of the fruit garden as well as the area around the pool area (closed from 9pm) The Villa has also a more recent outbuilding cottage (Casa Sorvillo) situated inside the property and listed as a separate rental but in an entirely independent position; the two accommodations can be rented together and share the same tree lined driveway. The two properties share only the entrance gate and the driveway, while each have their own private outdoor space and are separate from each other. Please note the second south facing terrace where there is now a outdoor swimming pool is available only to the guests of the Villa. The pool is accessible only between 8am-9pm. No diving/jumping is allowed both for your safety and to ensure the water system is not compromised. For any beverages and food, only plastic glasses/plates are allowed in the premises of the pool and clients are expected to leave the area clean. The pool will be open from the 1st of May to the end of October only. Other things to note Tourist Tax (Tassa di Soggiorno) In accordance with local regulations, all guests staying in short-term rentals in Vietri sul Mare are required to pay a tourist tax (tassa di soggiorno). For this type of accommodation, the tax is €5 per person per night. (Please note: smaller accommodations may be subject to a lower rate of €3.50, but the €5 rate applies to this property.) The amount will be requested via Airbnb 1–2 days after check-in. The payment is collected by me on behalf of the Comune di Vietri sul Mare and will be transferred to the local authorities.
