If you're looking for a unique vacation rental in central Alabama, look no further than this 1812 cabin.  This historic cabin is loaded with character and is located on forty acres of land, offering plenty of room to relax and unwind. The cabin has three bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms, making it perfect for families or groups of friends. Moved to our location from Tennessee in 1993, modern conveniences such as indoor plumbing and central heat and air were added :). The cabin was built back log by log to its original glory...if only these walls could talk! Downstairs, you will find a twin bedroom with its own bathroom that has a claw-foot tub. The living area has a door opening up to a huge screened in porch that runs along the back of the cabin. You will have a full kitchen with everything you need during your stay. There is a full bathroom and laundry room located off of the kitchen. There are two sets of steep stairs going to the upper level. The master bedroom sits on top of the kitchen area and features a queen sized bed. The bunk room is located over the living area and has a full bed and two twin sized beds. There's even a secret passageway that connects the two rooms (a favorite of the kids!). Sitting within a 40-acre farm, you will feel so far away- yet close to everything you need! Chelsea is one of the fastest growing areas in the state and has great grocery stores, restaurants, and more! You are a close drive into downtown Birmingham for events there, as well!
