Picturesque Welsh Cottage near Pontypridd

A delightful 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom cottage that has a small private garden and patio with incredible views over the countryside. Located 1.5 miles north of Pontypridd town centre, high up on top of Graigwen Hill, the perfect place to explore South Wales with walks directly from the door. The property is part of an active smallholding, the full land mostly used to graze horses. The cottages backs onto a large field where our Highland Cattle graze. The space The property is located at the top of Graigwen Hill. After the old cattle grid you will turn right off the main road (signposted Lan Farm) and drive up a steep single track lane. The lane continues for around half a mile, passing the back of our green barn, leading you directly to the property gates. The cottage is situated in front of the main house, with its own private parking space’s. Upstairs the cottage has two lovely bedrooms, the main has a King bed with plenty of storage space. The second bedroom has a zip and link bed that can be converted from two singles to a Super Kingsize with Small TV and storage. The bathroom has an electric shower with its own disco lights and radio, basin and toilet. Bedding and towels inc in rental Downstairs the kitchen is fitted with a full range of equipment, electric oven, microwave, kettle, American fridge freezer with ice machine, washer, dryer and dishwasher. In the centre of the kitchen is an breakfast island with 4 stools. The living area is comfortable with sofas surrounding the electric fire and TV. It also has an Xbox 360 with games, a selection of books, board games, DVDs and a 4 seated dinning table. At the side of the cottage there is private parking for one vehicle, at the back there is a small garden with a low wall overlooking our field. In the back garden there is a patio area with outdoor seating. Near the back door there is a boot box provided to store outdoor shoes, also an outdoor tap and hose to wash down muddy dogs. There is bike storage on site if required. There is room on site to park an extra vehicle. Well behaved pets are welcome but need to be kept under control. Please note that we do have our own animals on site inc; farm dogs, chickens, cats, ducks, horses, sheep and cows. Strictly no smoking or vaping. We have an 7KW electric charger for the main house - chargeable by arrangement when needed. Guest access Guests are welcome to use the cottage, please let us know if you or your children would like to meet the horses and we will arrange a time to take you up to the barn so your visit is supervised. If the children would like to pick their own eggs for breakfast in the morning please let us know and we will pre-arrange a morning meet up with you/them to take them to see the chickens and Ducks. Visiting the animals on site is at your own risk, they are well behaved but can be unpredictable as with all animals. We have pet Swiss Valais Blacknose, Zwartbles sheep and highland cows on site. Petting them is at your own risk, however they are very friendly and love hugs and attention! Our ducks and chickens are free roaming so will likely come and say hello. We also have cats on site that may pass by to say hello. If you need to use the vehicle charging point please ask us at the time. It is a 7KW charging point.
