Come and enjoy this warm house with 3 bedrooms which can sleep 8 (MAX 6 ADULTS) **BYO LINEN**No Wi-fi** Piwari Villa is a Rangataua holiday home, close to Ohakune. This lovely mountain base enjoys comfortable living with mountain views, an easy 5km drive to the base of Mt Ruapehu & close to mountain bike trails. The spa is on year round for restful relaxation. Come and enjoy, winter or summer! A big lockable shed is available for your gear (skis/boards/bikes). (Note- no bikes there to use! ) The space Piwari Villa enjoys bach living, the house includes open plan living with a closed fireplace & a spa pool for toasty stays. In summer, soak up the sun and mountain views from the deck when the weather is warmer! After a day of hiking, mountain biking or skiing you can enjoy the a mountain view. There is a great little drying room / cupboard too for gear. Whether you are after relaxation or adventure, Rangataua has you covered! This is a cosy wee wooden bach - not a luxury lodge ! Bedroom 1 is fitted with a single bunk set plus a double bed while bedrooms 2 & 3 have a queen bed each. All beds have duvets & covers and electric blankets; all rooms have a small panel heater. There are plenty of extra blankets also. This is an easy family set up for a mountain escape. *** BYO LINEN - TOWELS, SHEETS & PILLOWCASES *** *** All beds have duvets & waffle covers & there are plenty of extra blankets too *** *** Bathmat, hand-towels & tea-towels provided *** *** THERE IS NO WI-FI HERE- come & enjoy internet free time :) *** The spa is on year round .. it's not a brand new spa, the jets go on /off during the day/night. Mardi Gras weekend 2023 $1500 deposit.. returned after post stay inspection 3 night minimum Guest access You have full access to all areas. * There is a key to the wood-shed you can use to stock up with fire-wood. * There is a key to the metal shed on the front garden for ski/board/bike storage. * This shed stores the BBQ bottle & the hose - if you need either of these, please make sure you return these after use and lock the shed, thanks so much :) * The drying cupboard is in the kitchen, with heated towel rail, dehumidifier, boot racks, rails & hangers for all your gear. There is also a drying rack above the fire. Other things to note This is a typical old, wooden, rural kiwi bach which we have made homely & cozy - we love to share it with others to come & enjoy (ie.. it is not a luxury lodge !) * Guests must be able to light a fire and chop more kindling as you need * Please clean the BBQ each time after use, thank you * Please clean your dishes before you leave, we really appreciate this - thankyou * The hairdryer is kept in a drawer in the bunk-room * There is NO tumble-dryer here, there is a washing line + pegs, a drying room with heated towel rail, hangers, hooks + a drying rack above the fire & this all works well, summer or winter * FIREGUARD - is kept behind the drawers in the little back bedroom, or, underneath the bed in the big bedroom - just slide it out to use * There is a little dropdown step between lounge & diner, just be awar * Please be mindful of the driveway & culvert & water. The driveway is actually quite wide although can be easily misjudged, be aware when reversing in /out, it’s good to have a buddy to guide you ! * We don't have bikes at the house for guest use - sorry * No pets * Please, no loud, drunken, late night parties, please be respectful to the neighbours and quiet after 10pm
