The half-timbered house (the so-called "Ackerbürgerhof") dates back to 1737 and was extensively renovated in 2001. The apartment itself was newly furnished in August 2020 and offers everything you need for a nice vacation. The apartment is on the second floor and is an attic apartment with many old beams. The modern kitchen is equipped with dishwasher, oven, stove, microwave, coffee maker, toaster and kettle. There are 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed and another one with two single beds. The living area is additionally equipped with a pull-out sofa bed (can be used as an extra bed). The daylight bathroom has a shower and toilet. Of course, there is also free Wi-Fi. Free parking is available in the enclosed courtyard. Fantastic location: Located directly at the historic church of Gernrode (50 m), the Irish Pub (30 m) and the Froschkönig (60 m) in the beautiful town of Gernrode. Very good connection by bus and Harz Narrow Gauge Railway to the World Heritage City of Quedlinburg (without the stress of looking for a parking space). Surrounded by wonderful hiking and biking trails, such as to the Osterteich, Bückeberg, the largest cuckoo clock in the world, Stubenberg, Preußenturm, the Blauer See and the stalactite caves in Rübeland and much more.
