Host family rents room in Manresa, Barcelona

A host family rents a private room for a French student (September 2021 - June 2022) in Manresa (Barcelona (Spain)). Rental. Monthly price = 500 euros. - Single room with bathroom (shared with the au pair). - Use of the kitchen, living room and balcony-terrace. - Use of the parking lot. - Five hours per week of English lessons given by the au pair. - Note: September and June would be paid in proportion to the days used. The space Apartment. Room. The apartment where we live is located in Manresa, in the Bases de Manresa district, Pere Vilella Street (8 minutes and 600 meters from UManresa (FUB)). There is an elevator in the building. It is 96 m2. It consists of 5 bedrooms (two large and three normal), 2 bathrooms (one for the family and one for the student and the au pair), a large full kitchen (fridge, freezer, microwave, dishwasher, oven, gas stove, washing machine, dryer, TV and large table), a large living-dining room with TV and a desk with desktop computer and 24-hour fiber internet access and 2G/5G Wi-Fi. All rooms in the apartment have gas heating and they are all exterior and very bright. The apartment is located in the most beautiful area of the city (northern area called "Bases de Manresa"), 5 minutes from the "Ferrocarrils Catalanes (FF.CC)" trains and 20 minutes from the "RENFE trains". There are city buses 100 meters from the apartment and we live 10 minutes from the city center. An au pair from the European Union with a medium/high level of English will live with us in the apartment, who will help us on a daily basis with Lucia and Cristina, as well as help us with housework. The student will have their own room (with outdoor ventilation and with a single bed, a large closet, a study table and gas heating) and will share a bathroom with the Au Pair. The student can have a motorcycle in the parking lot of the apartment in the same building and a bicycle in the storage room of the apartment, also in the same building. During your stay Introduction. Family. We are a family of five members (the father, Àngel, 50 years old, industrial engineer; the mother, Angélica, 50 years old, teacher, our first daughter, Mireia, 16 years old, our second daughter, Lucia, 9 years old, and the last daughter, Cristina, 5 years old). We live in Manresa, a medium-sized city of 80,000 inhabitants located 1 hour by train/40 minutes by car north of Barcelona, in the interior of Catalonia. We are an international family, we are fluent in English and French (in addition to Catalan and Spanish). Angelica is Spanish of Peruvian nationality. We lived three years in Dublin (Ireland) (2001-2003) and one year (2004) in Strasbourg (France). We like to have contact with people from other cultures and we are used to living with young au pairs of different nationalities. We consider English and French to be fundamental to our professions and to the future personal and professional lives of our daughters Mireia, Lucia and Cristina. This next school year, Mireia will study the International Baccalaureate away from home (in Girona). That's why we want to rent Mireia's room to a French student for the next school year.
