St Kilda Apartment- central, peaceful, sunny

Welcome to Napier and our peaceful, private spacious, self contained one bedroom apartment. Quiet but very central; you are within easy walking distance of Napier's Marine Parade and town centre. Enjoy our expansive garden full of bird song, relax on the apartment's private terrace area with a glass of wine or coffee and a good book or head into Napier to enjoy its cafes, restaurants and numerous visitor attractions and activities. The space Self contained one bedroom apartment on the ground floor of our main house which is set within large sunny, mature gardens. Access to the apartment is completely separate from the main house. The apartment has its own off street parking pad, lit walkway and private front door so you can come and go as you please. The front door opens onto a flat terrace area with outside cafe style table and chairs seal, which enjoys all morning and late afternoon sun from spring to late summer perfect for a morning coffee or evening drink .There is a a further sunny wooden deck area adjacent to the apartment front door which you are welcome to use for relaxing, drying clothes etc. The apartment comprises of a large bedroom with a sitting /reading area which gets most of the day time sun and a separate, recently renovated, kitchen come living / dining area which get lots of morning sun . The small bathroom is off the living /kitchen area.The fully equipped kitchen has a fridge freezer, microwave, cook top and full oven, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, crockery and essential kitchen implements. There is also a washing machine tucked away in a bifold cupboard. The bedroom/ sitting area has North facing high (above head height) windows that gather full day sun and face on to our garage forecourt. A further 3 East facing high windows face the garden. All the windows have been fitted with day time privacy blinds that let all the sun in yet maintain full privacy for guests in the room and night time black out blinds which can be pulled down at night to maintain night-time privacy. You can easily pull the blinds up and down as you please. Several windows open with the aid of a window opening hook. ( we can show you how to use this ) We can configure the beds to suite guests: either a super king bed or split into two single beds . A third single bed can be added to the room for an extra guest - just let us know when you book if you need a bed for a third person. There is an in-ground salt water swimming pool that has access from the terrace (separate to the main house access) that guest are welcome to use, depending on our families activities - please check with us first. Pool towels are provided. There is also a shaded sitting area beside the pool which catches the evening sun . Guests are also welcome to walk around the gardens. We have areas to store bikes and trailers if required . Please note we have 3 well trained gentle family dogs that love people who will be out in the garden from time to time, if you are uncomfortable around dogs this may not be the place for you . Guest access The apartment has a designated car parking pad within the grounds of our house , it’s situated at the top of the entrance drive way. The pad has steps which lead onto the pathway to the apartment. There are other places to park your car in addition to the car pad, please contact us about this .
