Welcome to ‘Amanda’ where you can walk to it all, only 500 metres to Daylesford’s famed hospitality & retail attractions. Leave the car at your home away from home and immerse yourself in the Goldfields most desirable town. There’s plenty to see and no better way to do it than by foot, stroll down to the lake, past galleries, boutiques, wine stores and so much more. The space Amanda is filled with many beautiful original period features such as Dado wall panelling, high decorative ceilings and leadlight windows. Our guest feedback has highlighted the quality of the bedding, linen with consistent comments on the warmth of the hydronic heating. Plus a wood fire! because that’s what you want from your spa country stay on a cold day. Afternoons on the veranda during golden hour are glorious with views across the valley and an abundance of native bird life Amanda is for all but we’re best suited to couples, singles and smaller groups with two king size beds (both splitable for 4 x king singles) and if needed a fold out sofa bed in the lounge which can be closed for privacy. All linen and firewood supplied. Guest access There is off street parking accessed via the rear laneway. There is also ample unlimited street parking out the front. Make yourself at home at Amanda and use all its facilities, BBQ and veranda and large garden. Other things to note The kitchen is fully equipped, but if you have any special requirements, please check with us first. Amanda is fully self contained and self catering. Basic items such as oils, sauces, spices, coffee, tea and long-life milk are provided. We do our best to replenish these items ahead of your stay, this is not always possible due to bookings and schedules, we hope you understand.
