Description
44 Dalzell Street is a traditional spacious, yet cosy terraced house in a small Cumbrian village on the famous 'Alfred Wainwright Coast to Coast' footpath. The house has been recently renovated and has modern fixtures and fittings throughout. Moor Row provides an excellent base for exploring this part of the Western Lake District and there is information in the house to provide you with ideas: By car: 8 minutes to St Bees coastal resort, 10 minutes to Whitehaven, 25 minutes to Cockermouth The space You have the house completely to yourself and as our 'home from home', it is fully central heated and furnished with everything you need for a short, or long stay: The house has a galley kitchen, with fridge, freezer, washing machine, single oven, hob, microwave as well as pots pans, bowls, plates, iron, ironing board Through the kitchen, the downstairs spacious bathroom has a bath and an over bath shower along with hand basin and loo The large living room has a dining table/chairs, recliner arm chair, sofa, bookshelves, nest of tables, large flat screen TV and electric fire - should you require more heat. The main bedroom is furnished with a king sized bed, bedside tables, wardrobe and chest of drawers - with additional under stairs storage The second bedroom has 2 single beds, a bedside table and chest of drawers. We supply all bedding, towels, soap, loo roll and some tea and coffee ready for your arrival There is a private back door that allows entry to our small rear yard which has a table and chairs outside table. Please do not hesitate to ask any further questions Guest access Our house was built in the days before people worried about car parking, and so we have on-street parking, which is first come, first served. There is always a space along the street, even if you have to park a few doors away. Sadly, the local village bus service is no more, but there are several taxi cabs operating in the village Other things to note If you are planning to arrive late, I would recommend that you bring food with you, as although there is grocery shopping within a few minutes drive away, there isn't a local shop in the village
