The Eisriesenwelt, the largest ice cave in the world and the Hohenwerfen Castle with falconry - free bird nest. Experience eagles, falcons, buzzards and eagle owls up close. The magnificent, idyllic Werfenweng, one of Austria's 5 Alpine pearls, is only a few minutes' drive from our apartment house. Our attractive region offers numerous leisure activities for the whole family for both summer and winter holidays! Whether hiking, climbing, biking, walking, archery, paragliding, skiing, cross-country skiing (entry point behind the house), horse-drawn sleigh rides, a small day tour to the adventure park - everything is possible. The modern ski area in Werfenweng is perfect for families, with both blue, red and black slopes available. Nearby is the largest ski area in Europe, "Ski Amade". With a total of 270 ski lifts and cable cars and more than 860 kilometers of slopes.
