Only 8 min. walk to Holtet center with shops, bank, post office, pharmacy, restaurants and public transport to the city center. On the property there is a small family kindergarten. If you are uncomfortable with children's noises, this is not a place for you. If parts of the group choose to stay in the loft, they must put on the sheets and bed linen themselves. The space A beautiful, centrally located and quiet gem. Welcome to our beautiful paradise, only 12 minutes from Oslo city center by tram, and only 5 minutes by car. From our area you can enjoy views over the Oslofjord and have proximity to forests and fields. If you also love modern art, appreciate silence, and not least like animals, our annex, DUKKESTUEN, will certainly be something for you. Torhild, me Henrik live in the neighboring house on the same property. Torhild is a great animal lover and has more than 30 different individuals to take care of, be it birds, cats, rabbits or a stray dog. Torhild also runs a small kindergarten on the property. DUKKESTUEN is currently only available for rent on weekends and holidays. DUKKESTUEN has underfloor heating, fireplace and a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, refrigerator, professional utensils and Nespresso machine. In the bathroom there is a toilet, light therapy shower, sink and washing machine. The bedroom has a quality bed of 150x200 cm, art from Barcelona on the walls, and nice storage space. In the living room there is a sofa/sofa bed for two, a loft with sleeping space for another two, two armchairs and a dining and working space for 8 people. A fast WiFi that unfortunately can sometimes be somewhat unstable and a good sound system will also be available. The interior also consists of design furniture bought in Paris in the 30s, modern art, as well as design objects made by Henrik who is a retired architect and graphic designer. Jam made from the garden's apples and rhubarb, as well as fresh eggs if the hens are in the mood, await in the fridge. Henrik is a food enthusiast and has cooking as one of his most important hobbies. 8 minutes walk from the property is the center Holtet, where the tram to/from Oslo city center stops. At Holtet you will find various shops including pharmacies and Norway's most famous grocery store, Jacobs. If you walk a few more minutes, you will come to Ekeberg which, in addition to being the arena for the world's largest football tournament for children and young people, is also a fantastic recreational area whether you like to walk in the woods or on kilometers of green plains. In Ekeberg sculpture park you can walk in beautiful surroundings and contemplate sculptures by world-renowned artists. Also completely free. In winter, it is within walking distance to skiing and sledding slopes. Tryvann winter park for those who want more advanced alpine challenges is easily accessible by subway. Oslo is surrounded by many hundreds of square kilometers of forests and lakes with trails and illuminated trails. Everything for free use just a small tram or bus ride away.
