Pemnel Farm - for Families & Foodies

Perfect for families or a group of friends wanting to explore the Otways or just stop, take a breath & catch up. We’re close to the beach (Lorne) & the hills (Forrest). Catch yabbies, harvest veggies for dinner, cook up a storm, stroll to the top of the farm to watch the roos at dusk (with a glass of local wine) & then gather around the fire or bonfire & relax. Remember to collect eggs in the morning for your breakfast. We’re solar powered with a battery & a fast charger for your EV. The space During winter enjoy the wood heater in the large living area while you curl up on one of 2 large sofas. In summer take the pontoon out on the dam & dive in. Our veggie garden is there for you to enjoy. Families will love the large bunk room where the kids can play with loads of toys & games & everyone loves toasting marshmallows over the bonfire! Guest access Guests have complete access to the whole property. Other things to note We’re a Farmstay. The only ‘farm’ task we ask of you is to let the chickens & geese out in the morning & put them away at night. This is quite simple as the birds are keen to go into their Henitentiary at dusk. It’s also ok if you don’t do this everyday. The bonus if you’ll get farm fresh eggs when they’re laying. We love pets however we don’t have any dog proof fencing & we do have cows. So please be mindful of keeping your dog under control with the birds & the cows. We’re a minimal waste property. If you book with us we’d very much appreciate you joining us in reducing our contribution to landfill. We have 3 bins - recycling, soft plastic & rubbish & 5 buckets to seperate compost, chook food, coffee grinds, garlic skins & egg shells. When you leave we hope you’ll be wowed at how little you’ve put into the rubbish bin!
