This lovely private cottage is located in the peaceful and quiet surroundings of Oravská Priehrada, offering a perfect place to unwind and reconnect with nature. Family-friendly, the cottage is just a 10-minute drive from the town The space Please note that the stairs to the attic are steep, so the cottage is not recommended for families with toddlers. The cottage includes: • 1 fully equipped kitchen • A living room with a fireplace and a sofa bed for additional sleeping space • 1 bathroom • 2 attic bedrooms (accessed by steep stairs) • An enclosed porch (winter garden) for relaxing evenings with a glass of wine or a game of cards • A small workspace with washing machine and space to safely store two bicycles or skisets. This layout offers a functional and cozy space for families or small groups looking to enjoy a quiet stay close to nature. Outside, you will find a beautiful greeny outsider space with a terrace, seating area, grill, and a fire pit, perfect for relaxing evenings outdoors. There are hand-made swings crafted by my father, adding a personal touch for children and adults to enjoy. At the back of the property, a charming little stream runs below the cottage. It’s not visible from the terrace, but you can take a short walk down the small hill to reach it and enjoy its peaceful sound. There are few lovely traditional restaurants with a wonderful cosy atmosphere nearby. About 10 km from the cottage is The big Statue of Christ with amazing view and its very much worth seeing (in the village called KLIN). You can visit Outside swiming pools in Slanicky dvor (3km) or visit aquaparks Meander (25 km) or Tatralandia (50 km) . You can go horse riding in Eddyho ranc (8km) or in gorgeous Oravsky Haj in Breyovica(30km) where you can enjoy a luxurious wellness if the weather is bit rainy . If you enjoy water activities or sunbathing you can visit Liptovska Mara (45km)which is a perfect place for hot days.for hot days are many more things to see and visit and we can advise you on it if you are interested. In the summer paddleboats, boat cruise to Baroque chapel: Orava Gallery exhibit, lapidary. (A church in Slanica, standing on an elevation surrounded by waters of the Orava Dam, was chosen as a suitable place to install the pieces of art. The church, that was a dominant of a village that was inundated, was originally built as a Baroque chapel (1766 — 1769) and it was adopted according to Classicist style in 1843. In the period of (phone number hidden) it was changed into an attractive and rare exhibition hall of the Orava Gallery. In the temple space there is a collection of folk art installed and a lapidaries of stonecutting works from Orava is a part of it. In 2008, along with seven wooden churches of the Slovak part of Carpathian Mountain Area, it was included on the UNESCO Word Heritage List. 23 km Above the village Oravský Podzámok the Orava castle rises. It was founded on very importatnt strategic place on Ugrian-Poland trip near the custom-house in Tvrdošín and since 1370 was the county castle as well. Buildings complex consisting of upper, middle and lower castles was created step by step since the middle of 13th century to beginning of 17th century. 35 km Oravice Oravice - thermal aquapark , ski resort, walking routes , thermal outside swimming pool (wonderful during winter) 23 km Podbieľ Podbieľ - the Reserve of Folk Architecture (traditional buildings and houses, typical of the central Orava region,that have been preserved in a very good condition.
