The sound of the birds will be your only interruption. Woodcutters cottage has an open fireplace, small self contained kitchen, spa bath, sauna, and a beautiful courtyard for morning breakfasts or evening sundowners. Nestled into the Australian bush, and with an Olive grove in front, it is the perfect antidote for a hectic lifestyle. This charming studio cottage has everything to make it a perfect retreat for couples (not suitable for children). It is on a secluded part of the property and features a queen size bed, small living / kitchen area with an open fireplace (studio style). The bathroom includes a large couples spa along with a sauna. Air conditioning is also provided, along with couples bikes for you to explore our property. Large day beds, and sun recliners are in the front cottage garden area for you to soak up the beautiful surroundings of your cottage. Guest access Freshwater Creek Cottages are nestled just minutes from the beautiful beaches of Torquay, and the Great Ocean Road. Our Cottages are a great place to stay to take in the beautiful countryside Victoria has to offer whilst still being close to the Ocean. Whilst staying at with us you will enjoy the peaceful rural setting, with natural bush land and farming vistas on your doorstep. The cottages are part of a 50 acre property, with over 20 acres of farming paddocks that hold sheep, cows, horses and pigs. The farm animals also share their paddocks with the 60 or so kangaroos that graze freely every evening. For the sports orientated we have a full size tennis court, beach volley ball court, a large grassed area perfect to kick the soccer or football, or have a go at backyard cricket. We can arrange massages, reflexology, personal training and many other health & well being services. Artists often come to Freshwater Creek for inspiration in the tranquil surroundings. On arrival, talk to Marissa or Phillip about the use of bicycles, surfboards, tennis racquets or other sporting items. We have a large variety of board games and puzzles for some good old fashioned fun. We are a pet friendly farm stay. Please call prior to making your booking to discuss out pet stay policies. We can also offer a variety of arrival packages, from breakfast starter kits to fully stocked pantries. Other things to note Firewood and all linen provided. Pet friendly.
