The apartment La Piedra (No 58) The approx. 40 sqm apartment is located on the lower floor (basement) of a house and is reached via the spacious terrace. The apartment consists of a living/dining room (2 sleeping places for children/teenagers) with fully equipped kitchenette. Next to it are the bedroom with large wardrobe and the bathroom with shower, toilet, sink and washing machine. All covers, mattresses, etc. are NEW and are replaced regularly. Laundry, towels and beach towels are of course included. More beaches, e.g. the award-winning La Concha beach, you can walk 7 minutes from the apartment. The “Playa de Los Lagos de Cotillo” or “Playa La Concha”, with its quiet and original beach coves, is located north of El Cotillo in the direction of the Faro del Tostón lighthouse. The bright sandy and fine sandy beach offers optimal bathing pleasure. Due to its flat bays going into the Atlantic and the quiet sea, it is ideal for a beach visit with children. Twice a day there is low tide. This will allow infants to play with a high water level at ankle. The larger ones wade a few meters into the sea and can already be swum. Children and adolescents find an almost inexhaustible natural “playground” where they can let their creativity and the urge to move. Towards the north you will find more coves. Peace seekers appreciate the original coves and the sections with varied landscape of dunes and dark volcanic rocks in front of the white beach. A few minutes away is the neighboring beach La Concha and a beach restaurant. From there, a small asphalt road leads to the Faro del Tostón, the fishing museum and another surf spot. South of El Cotillo, about 8 minutes by car at "Piedra Playa" the white water fans and Sufer get their money's worth. To the north, the HOTSPOTS for surfers and kiters start after a few minutes. Two larger supermarkets with organic assortment, a bank, numerous simple and excellent restaurants and bars as well as a laundromat and many other offers can be found in the village of El Cotillo. After a 25-minute drive by car or in 45 minutes by bus, you can reach the tourist hotspot Corralejo with many restaurant, shopping and a Lidl.
