Views at 1,450 m reach the mountains of Africa, Almeria and Malaga. The space Casa HYLACAR is located in CAPILERILLA, one of the 5 villages that make up LA TAHA de PITRES (Arab municipal structure that still survives). It is reached with any type of vehicle to the door of the house with only 200 m. of unpaved track. DESCRIPTION: Charming house nestled in the woods of chestnut, oak and oak trees of the Sierra Nevada Natural Park, La Alpujarra Alta. It is the ideal place to find peace in the midst of nature: rest, walk, hike through fern ravines and green peaks..... and do not forget to get lost in the intricate streets and corners of these almost Berber villages and formerly lost, one of the highest inhabited regions in Europe! From an altitude of 1450 m above sea level you will enjoy views stretching hundreds of kilometres: from the Rif mountain range in Africa (over the Mediterranean Sea) to the peaks of the Mulhacén to the north, passing through the Almería mountains to the east and the Montes de Málaga to the west. In the construction of the house, 20 years ago, the traditional architecture has been absolutely respected: with its 50 cm. stone, clay and lime walls; the wooden ceilings and slabs of the land and handcrafted tiles of authentic Arab tradition, you will feel that you live in a historic house. In addition, due to its south orientation and the insulating quality of natural materials, your stay will always be comfortable and very pleasant. The accommodation is surrounded by garden and green grass spaces where you can always find sun in winter and shade in summer. The climate is very favorable: the mountain itself protects the house from the cold northern air; the south orientation ensures a warm sun for winter days and our height above sea level causes cold nights even in summer. The air is always pure and fresh because it comes from the forests that surround us. In short, it is the ideal place to enjoy the climate of Andalusia but escaping the overwhelming heat of its long summer months. Although the temperature does not require a bath, during the months of July and August we have a public swimming pool 10 minutes from the house; but you can also find pleasant pools and backwaters for a dip in the many mountain rivers of La Alpujarra (5 minutes away the nearest)! Of course, in the garden you will find furniture (tables, chairs and hammocks) to enjoy this wonderful environment outdoors. After 15 years of welcoming customers from all over Europe, we advise this house to come with children (the garden is flat, safe), but it will be truly unforgettable for “romantic couples” and any group of friends! Your pets will also be welcomed.
