A region that inspires both an active and relaxing escape from everyday life. With respect to the environment, we have rebuilt this property into an elegant home featuring a private pool, hot tub and sauna. Accommodating up to two families of 4. The space Our house consists of two attached buildings, the main house and the hay barn that has been converted into the living room (accessible through the kitchen). In case you rent the house with up to 5 people (of which 1 kid) you will have access to the house via the living room on the first floor and have 2 bedrooms, a kitchen, and a large living room (48sm) at your disposal, as well as the entire outside areas (pool, trampoline, two seating areas). If you rent the house with more than 5 people (6 up to 8), you will have the 2 bedrooms and an additional bathroom on the ground floor at your disposal (4 bedrooms in total). Please note that the bathroom on the ground floor is accessible via one of the bedrooms, yet you do not need to go through that bedroom as it is immediately on the left side. You will always have the property for yourself! The house has been carefully designed with modern art, where we have emphasized reusing materials to ensure a sustainable renovation that matches the rural surroundings. The house is located in Pamparato, a beautiful small village close to Mondovi (30 minutes by car). You will find the house in the valley of the village, not entirely secluded, to ensure you can grasp Italian local life. Our place in the countryside is ideal for those who enjoy relaxing in beautifully designed and comfortable surroundings, where a lot of the highlights from the Piemontese region can be reached within 30 minutes to a good hour. Guest access The house is easy to reach and is not in a secluded area, also in wintertime, the roads are easily accessible. Private parking for 2 cars is possible at our premises. It is important to know that you do need a car to get around. Shopping for groceries is possible at 5 minutes from our house, there are also quite some restaurants in the direct neighborhood, that offer good food at an excellent price. We often fly to Turin or Genua and are then able to get to our house in 1 hour 15 minutes (Turin) or 1 hour 30 minutes Genua. The Ligurian coast (places like Finale Ligure, Nolli Cele Ligure, Spotorno) are all located within a good hour - an hour and a half from our house (depending on the month of the year). The ski slopes are also very nearby. Extremely close to our home are the ski slopes of San Giacomo and within 45 minutes from our home, you will have access to the Mondole ski area with 105 kilometers of slopes in a truly Italian atmosphere. For guests who favor culinary delights, The university of gastronomic sciences in Pollenza is located one hour from us, excellent wineries for those who favor typical Piemontese wines such as the Barolo and Dolcetto are also within an hour’s drive. Cities like Turin, Cuneo, and Genua will tick the boxes for those who wish to indulge themselves in the Italian culture. Other things to note Private seasonal pool: from May-October (April depending on weather conditions). The pool is heated at 23 degrees and since we have a cover and top deck swimming will certainly be possible from May until October. It is a saltwater pool that measures 8 by 4 meters. The entrance gate to the pool can be closed, however, please never leave your children out of sight. The swimming pool is not guarded! The hot tub and sauna are available year-round, cleaning of the stoves is not included in the end cleaning. Both sauna and hottub are with wood stoves only, wood is included.
