This family home is located in Crete, at North-East, at the top of a hill above the port of Kouremenos. At an altitude of 75 metres, it enjoys a fantastic panorama of the sea and the bay of Kouremenos, of the village of Palaikastro and Agathia, of the olive groves and the surrounding mountains. The space The limited neighborhood guarantees a calm without measure, in the open air, and in the center of the nature. A huge plot of 4,000 m2, terraced, and partly planted with olive trees, surrounds the house. In this garden a little wild, you can also discover a wide variety of trees, and aromatic Cretan plants in their natural environment. A very large terrace facing South will allow you to relax, to take a drink in the shade or in the sun, to have lunch with your family, or enjoy the starry skies. Guest access This large house (100 m2 on each level) is ideal for a group of adults, or for one or two families with older children. Upstairs, a landing and a corridor distribute four large bedrooms, a bathroom, and closets. Two spacious bedrooms are equipped with a double bed, one with an extra single bed. A third bedroom is equipped with a single bed and a Cretan sofa that can be used for sleeping ; an extra bed is added in mezzanine. A fourth bedroom is equipped with a sofa bed (possible to be opened for 2 people), a single bed, and an extra single bed in mezzanine. A large bathroom with bath and toilet (WC), and washing machine, completes the whole upstairs. On the ground floor, a fifth bedroom with double bed, wardrobe, private shower and toilet, opens with a French window on the terrace. All windows are equipped with mosquito nets and allow natural ventilation day and night. The house, originally a family home, provides all that is useful for everyday life, and mainly equipment in the kitchen, and a dishwasher. W.C are available on the ground floor. In addition, a very large room with a living room, a dining-room and kitchen, allows you to enjoy the amazing views thanks to large and numerous windows and French windows. Satellite television and wifi are available to visitors. Only the the basement will be closed to visitors. Finally, the large paved stone terrace is accessible from both outside and inside. Other things to note The number of people on reservation MUST match the number of people who will be sleeping for insurance purposes. If there is one or more persons, a modification of the reservation will have to be requested to the host on the site of Airbnb, the amount of the reservation will be modified, and will have to be accepted by the travelers BEFORE their entry in the accommodation. Children over 2 years old are charged and must be included in the calculation of the reservation. Sheets and towels are at your disposal and can be cleaned regularly, beach towels are provided.
