Pilchard Press Cottage is all about location.... fantastically situated at the top of the infamous Fish Street this cottage has 4 of St. Ives beaches all within a hop, skip and a splash! The space For those who have been visiting the town for many years they may remember this being the home of the wet fish shop! Located on the ground floor entering from Back Road East into a large open plan kitchen, lounge/diner with plenty of seating space for relaxing, along with a large Smart TV and exposed granite walls. The open plan lounge, kitchen and dining makes for a wonderful family and social space so that nobody feels isolated in the kitchen. All 3 bedrooms have a double bed, the 3rd bedroom has been converted from the previous garage space and the washing machine and dryer are located in the wardrobe in this bedroom. Also benefiting from a Xbox 1 and a controller and large bean bag, this room is perfect for the teenager who wants some space of their own on a family holiday. A newly refurbished bathroom, WC, sink with bath and overhead shower completes the accommodation at the perfectly located and characterful cottage. With the numerous restaurants, bars, cafes and local shops all within walking distance this cottage makes for a perfect short break or stay without any need to use your car- just perfect for relaxing and enjoying everything that St. Ives has to offer. Other things to note Travel cots and high chairs are available upon request only. We ask for a £10 fee per item to hire them for the duration of a stay. What we provide: Bed linen for all beds. Bath towels & hand towels for 5 guests. Tea towels, oven cloth and a bath mat. 2x toilet rolls. Hand soap, washing up liquid, anti bacterial spray, bleach. (Please note we do not provide shampoo, conditioner or shower gel due to personal preference and/or allergies) Dish cloth, sponge, dishwasher tablets. (Please note we do not provide washing detergent/pods due to personal preference and/or allergies) Oil, salt, pepper, pint of milk, tea bags, coffee sticks and sugar sticks. Please note: The cottage does not have a parking space and there is no free on street parking. The cottage is however located just a minutes walk from The Island car park, this can be busy in the summer and we do however have a few off site parking spaces (20 minute walk away) which we can book out alongside a reservation at Pilchard Press Cottage for an additional fee.
