Beautiful stone built bothy dating back to 19th century. Lovingly restored with original stonework around a cosy wood burner. We offer outstanding views across the Kyle of Sutherland and are situated in quiet countryside. The Bothy has a small kitchen (with limited cooking e.g. Airfryer ), bathroom with shower and use of laundry facilities if required. . We are situated 1 hour North of Inverness and only 1 hour from Ullapool on the stunning NC500 route. BBQ and charcoal provided. The space Rowanberry Bothy is an ideal escape into the beauty of the Scottish Highlands. Enjoy a romantic getaway or plan an adventurous holiday whilst staying in this cosy little bothy surrounded by woodland, rivers and lochs. There is plenty of walking, mountain biking, fishing and hill climbing right on the doorstep here with an adventure just around the corner. You may spot white tailed eagles, pine martens, red squirrels, sika deer and otters in this area. Within the Bothy, the stacker beds can be utilised as one large double or two single beds. The small kitchenette has a kettle, toaster, sandwich grill a microwave and an airfryer. There is a newly installed toilet and shower, and on the colder nights you can cuddle up in front of the cosy wood burning stove. Parking is free and shared with the owners but let us know if you have a camper van or larger vehicle.
