Our Farm is located in an offbeat track around 90 min drive from Darjeeling. Once you reach there, you are rewarded with the natural forests, views of tea gardens, river and the valley can be breathtaking. The farm will give an experience of the real countryside of Darjeeling region. The farm is unique in its own way with its sustainable designed bamboo units, tented camps and on-going groomed landscapes and plantations. It is eco-tourism in its true sense. The space The Place aims to attract visitors who will spend more time, appreciate the natural and cultural heritage of the valleys of Bijanbari and Pulbazar areas, and contribute more to the local economy. Further to attracting tourists as a eco farm stay and getaway, the Bassbari Farm aims to serve as model sustainable initiative, the farm in the near future will be a knowledge center and learning grounds for school children, researchers and think tanks, demonstrating sustainable living in its true sense. Stay at Baasbari Farm will not just be a ‘stay’ but aims to give guests and visitors experiences and knowledge about sustainable living and natural resources; Local Building materials and designs (bamboo and wood); Visitors will get a glimpse of village and rural areas of Bijanbari areas, the way of life and the agro-economy lifestyle. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire farm. Other things to note The price is inclusive of breakfast. Baasbari Farm is in an offbeat location, therefore guest are requested to inform us about their preference in meals in advance so you can taste local cuisines or let us know about your varied tastes. We aim to serve you local nepali dishes or something fresh from the farm. Fresh linen and towels will be provided to guests with a gap of 2 days. We can also arrange for laundry which will take a day with an extra charge of Rs 50 per piece.
