Golden Circle Cabin for nature lovers and hikers

Hi! Our apartment is nice and clean, with a private entrance and free parking. It's fully equipped and perfectly located in the countryside, directly between Reykjavik and the national park Þingvellir (20min/car). In clear, dark skies you can enjoy the Northern lights from the porch. The neighborhood is great for hiking, surrounded by mountains and hiking trails. Grocery stores only 5 minute drive away. Great swimming pool with hot tubs, slides, and sauna in 7-10 minutes driving distance. The space The apartment (approx. 50m2) is modern and spacious. It's newly refurbished (bedroom, kitchen and living room), fully equipped with nice crockery. All rooms have windows so natural light is maximized. The bedroom is quiet, facing North (away from the parking area), ensuring good sleep. The living room has large windows facing west, offering good natural lighting during the day. Good rest is important when traveling. The bedroom is nicely lit with a new and comfortable, king-sized bed. Icelandic winters can be cold so we offer high-quality duvet and bedding from Hoje, so you're guaranteed to be kept warm all night long, even in stormy blizzards. Our radiators use hot water so you can set the room temperature to your liking, summer or winter. There is a nice porch outside and a good, large grill with 5 burners at your disposal. Guest access You have full access to the apartment. It's very private, approx. 20 meters from our house. We offer private parking. Other things to note We take pride in what we do. If you have any questions regarding the cleanliness of the apartment, just let us know and we’ll promptly fix it. Before you arrive we will:  Change the sheets and duvet covers  Check all drawers and shelves for missing or unwanted items  Vacuum bedroom, living room, and bathroom  Vacuum under the bed and sofa bed  Clean and sanitize toilet (toilet seat removed in the process)  Clean the shower  Wipe the mirrors clean  Clean all floors with a steam cleaner to deep clean and sanitize the floors, including the bathroom  Wipe shelves and tables.  Clean and sanitize all power switches, door handles, buttons, window openers, and other frequently used equipment.  Check soaps, WC paper, and other necessities.
