Our recently refreshed Victorian listed building is situated in the heart of this historic town. Our house is arranged over three floors, and can host up to 10 guests. The space Imagine yourself relaxing on the sofa with a nice glass of wine listening to traditional Irish music, after a day of discovering! Situated in the middle of the hill, the house features: On the Ground floor, past the original hallway with traditional features and a fresher look, a comfortable living room with Sofa and chairs that opens into a separate dining room with large dining table. The separate kitchen includes all facilities (including washing-machine) and you can also use it as your breakfast room as it has another kitchen table! On the First Floor, you will find there are 2 bathrooms: one consisting of a walk-in shower room, toilet and washbasin, and on the same floor a further large bathroom consisting of a stand-alone bath, separate walk-in shower, toilet and washbasin with the best view of the Harbour! Pamper yourself in the large bath watching the liners coming in the harbour after a day of discovery! In the first bedroom (The bay-window room), there are 2 beds (1 king size + 1 single) and in Bedroom 2, there is a nice double bed. On the Top of the House, there is are two great bedrooms. The third bedroom comprises of one King size bed and one single bed, where you will recharge your energy for the next day! And Bedroom four consists of a Double Bed, with view to the Cathedral. By staying in this house, you will not only feel at home, but you will also be at the heart of a great community that offers: traditional pubs, nice restaurants, the unique Colemans’ Cathedral, the Titanic Museum, Cobh Heritage Centre, etc. all within a short walking distance. If you are a golf enthusiast, there are two golf clubs nearby (Cobh Golf Club and Fota Golf Club) – ask us for more information! In the area, you can drive to Ballycotton and its magnificent cliff walks; visit the Stephen Pearce Pottery, the Jameson Experience, Blarney Castle, etc. Guest access Car if you have a car, you can park it for free in front of the house. Trains and Ferries The train station is a very short walk downhill, which is accessed from the local heritage centre (25 minutes train ride to Cork City, with a regular train service). The Ferry is a further 2 miles drive from the house in the same direction, very well sign-posted. Please note when renting this property on a monthly basis or longer, electricity and heating (gas or oil) bills must be charged separately and paid for in advance.
