The space Situated in a quiet conservation area just a short stroll from the seafront and Hove’s excellent independent cafés, restaurants and bars, this spacious garden flat offers privacy, comfort and thoughtful design. With exceptional guest reviews and easy on-street parking nearby, it offers a dependably comfortable base for a relaxed coastal stay. Space & Privacy - The flat features an unusually large bedroom and a garden that creates a welcome sense of space and light around the property. A conservatory opens onto a raised wooden deck — a sunny spot for quiet alfresco dining or a G&T as the evening draws in. The Bedroom - Centred around a Lombok Canton four-poster bed with a Hypnos mattress (Royal Warrant holders) and a sumptuous Hungarian goose-down duvet with crisp John Lewis Egyptian cotton bedding. For entertainment there is a 55" Smart TV with Bose soundbar, plus an Echo Dot — simply say “Alexa, play Classic FM.” Kitchen & Appliances - A well-equipped kitchen with quality appliances from Bosch and Dualit, ideal for preparing breakfast before heading out to explore the seafront. The bathroom - features a Hansgrohe rainfall shower, a German steel bath tub and thick John Lewis towels Self check-in and easy on street parking outside ensures a smooth and flexible arrival. Garden Note - 🌳 The garden is currently being redesigned and will be completed by Autumn 2026. Guests are welcome to enjoy the raised deck area for outdoor seating. 🚲 Bicycles can be stored easily — please ask for details. Our Other Retreats - I also host peaceful countryside stays in the Towy Valley, West Wales, including a cosy shepherd’s hut and a secluded retreat between the Brecon Beacons, the Gower and Tenby. We keep bees and feed the Red Kites 🐝 🦅 Guest access Guests have full and private access to the entire flat, along with the raised decked seating area in the garden. If you need to store bicycles during your stay, please let me know and I’ll be happy to arrange this. Other things to note The communal fire alarm is tested weekly on Thursday mornings between 10:00 and 11:00am. The test is brief but can be loud. 📺 Smart TV & Streaming Guide We provide a Smart TV with an Amazon Fire Stick, giving you access to standard free apps (BBC iPlayer, ITVX, YouTube, etc.). If you’d like to watch your own subscription content, please note the following: • Streaming Apps (Netflix, Disney+, etc.): You are welcome to log directly into your personal accounts via the individual apps on the TV. Please remember to log out before you check out! • Amazon Prime & Movie Rentals: Because the Fire Stick hardware is locked to the host system account to protect personal data, guests cannot log into personal Prime accounts on the TV app. However, you can easily stream/cast Prime Video directly from the app on your phone, tablet, or laptop to the TV!
