Paid parking is available nearby, with options next to and across from the house. The space #GARAGE We don't have a parking area, but there are several coin-operated parking areas nearby. The nearest parking lots are just next door and in front of the house. The names of the parking areas are "ボーモン前パーキング" and "高辻大宮ボーモン町パーキング". #JAPANESE TRADITIONAL HOUSE Experience the charm of a Machiya, a traditional Japanese townhouse built over 100 years ago. This historic home has been lovingly renovated to provide modern comfort while preserving its timeless beauty. We've equipped it with new appliances and amenities, ensuring a perfect blend of tradition and convenience. #HOUSE • Entire House: Enjoy the entire house to yourself. We don’t live here, so there’s no need to share with anyone else. • Spacious and Comfortable: The house is 72㎡ (775 sq ft) and can accommodate up to 5 guests. It’s officially approved under Japan’s Hotel Business Law for this capacity. • Two-Story House: This is a two-story home with stairs but no elevator. The entrance, bathroom, toilet, washstand, and two rooms are on the ground floor, making it convenient for elderly guests. • Traditional Tatami Rooms: The house has 3 tatami rooms—one on the first floor and two on the second floor. We provide futons on new tatami mats, prepared based on the number of guests in your reservation. • Modern Amenities: Stay connected with free Wi-Fi. The house also has 2 air conditioners (for heating and cooling), and floor heating is available in winter. • Fully Equipped Kitchen: The kitchen includes cups, glasses, dishes, cookware, an IH cooking heater, an electric kettle, a microwave, and a refrigerator. *Please note there are no stoves. • Bathroom & Toilet: The bathroom is equipped with a new shower, a bathtub, body soap, and shampoo. There’s a washstand with hand soap, and the toilet has a modern washlet. • Laundry Facilities: A washing machine, clothes dryer, and washing powder are provided for your convenience. Fresh Towels & Linens: We provide fresh, clean towels and linens for your stay. • Hairdryer: A hairdryer is available. • Free Bikes: Explore Kyoto with our free bikes—it’s a great way to see the city! • Japanese Garden: Enjoy a small, tranquil Japanese garden that adds a touch of serenity to your stay. #CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT • Check-in time: From 16:00 p.m. You can arrive anytime after 16:00 p.m. Please note that we are unable to accommodate early check-ins or the dropping off of luggage before 16:00 p.m. • Check-out time: By 11:00 a.m. Please check out by 11:00 a.m. so we can prepare the house for the next guests. Late check-outs are not available, and we appreciate your understanding. • Luggage storage: Depending on the situation, we might be able to help with luggage storage before check-in or after check-out. Please feel free to ask if you need this service. * Kyoto Accommodation Tax: 400 yen per person per night (Please pay in cash upon check-in). Guest access In this traditional Kyoto machiya, which is available exclusively for one group per day, guests have full access to all areas except for the closets. Other things to note We obtained hotel business permission of Japan. This house is a facility that has received the permission of the official by Japan of Hotel Business Law. (the 1st floor) There are Japanese sliding glass doors between the foremost room and the room in the middle. And there is a Japanese curtain which we call 'Sudare' between the room farthest back and the room in the middle. You can separate one room to two or three rooms by closing door and pulling down the curtain. The sliding doors have no key to lock. (the 2nd floor) There is a Japanese curtain which we call 'Sudare' between the rooms. You can separate one room to two rooms by pulling down the curtain.
