The guest room is a beautiful, light filled private room+ensuite in Kijiji, a stunning sustainable eco/low toxin 'healthy' home. Kijiji is truly a unique house. Untreated natural timbers & stone, exposed wooden beam ceilings, white washed brick walls, hand crafted, bespoke fittings all contribute to Kijiji's natural and artistic beauty. The permaculture garden and surrounding bushland provide an air of tranquility. You can also enjoy the deluxe Enviroswim pool and fabulous tennis court on site. The space This is a special opportunity to treat yourself as the Kijiji Guest Room is only available on rare occasions. You will have access to the pool, tennis court and barbecue deck. The guest room is separate to the main house so you can go straight to your room without having to come into the main house making it more private, despite it being in the main house complex. This is a family residence however so while you are separate, you will still be part of family life as we use the pool and court and deck, and occasionally the barbecue when guests are in residence. We also have 2 cats who spend time in the garden. Kijiji is Swahili for "Village" and our family and house revolve around the importance of community! Kijiji represents the epitome of indoor/outdoor living in close connection to, and in harmony with, nature. It has been built with the aim of minimising / eradicating all of the usual household toxins and electromagnetic radiation to create a much healthier living space for our family and guests. In line with our healthy, toxin free lifestyle and environment, we also choose to be mRNA injection free. We also welcome all people and are a non discriminatory household. The property itself backs on to natural bushland. There is a large central permaculture vegetable garden which is the centre piece of this beautiful property. The pool is a non chlorine 'Enviroswim' pool. The emphasis on EMR reduction means that there is not extensive wifi through out our home and wifi reception is only reliable with the use of a Wifi router. There is an ethernet port in your room that allows you to access the internet via an ethernet cable. We use filtered tank water, so you can drink the water from the tap. Energy during the day is via solar. We are located on a quiet residential street very close to central Noosa Junction so cafes, restaurants and all the main shops are an easy 5 minute walk away. You can enjoy the wonderful benefits of staying in a very natural and quiet setting while still being extremely close to all the action. As we are a family with 3 active teenage children, there will be noise when the pool or the tennis court are in use, or the children are out in the garden. There will be a kettle and tea and coffee facilities, and a small bar fridge that you can use that is located on the pool deck, as well as a gas barbecue, but there are no kitchen facilities. If using the barbecue, please be sure to clean it after use and to make sure that the gas is fully turned off. Old tennis racquets and old balls are available for use but it is worthwhile bringing your own gear if you are serious about sports. We ask that all sporting items be treated respectfully, and stored safely under cover and out of the weather when not in use, and balls collected and not left on the street or in the garden. Anything that gets damaged ends up in landfill and I do my best to avoid this and to prolong the life of any item. Please park in the street near the house. Note that there may also be other guests staying in the Studio above the garage. As the house is toxin free and we live in a very natural environment, you will encounter ants and occasionally spiders so you need to be aware of this. Guest access Pool and BBQ Deck, Pool, tennis court, garden, street parking. Other things to note We are a very friendly, young family and we love visitors. You are welcome to join in with us if you wish.
