LITTLE TAMARIND is at the hilltop, an inviting and relaxing place to enjoy your stay in Sri Lanka / Tangalle, the space is 200 square meter that can welcome 7 people is facing the magnificent Indian Ocean, 4 minutes walk away from one of the most beautiful beaches of Sri Lanka. From the terrace, you'll be able to enjoy an amazing view on the ocean and the surrounding nature. The space An inviting and relaxing place to enjoy your stay in Sri Lanka / Tangalle, with One Oceanview Panoramic Suite and Two Mini Suites are in total a 200 square meter space facing the beautiful Indian Ocean, including a 65 square meter of private terraces embraced with stunning views of the ocean, that of the coconut fringed coast, and that of nearby peninsulas. On any given occasion, you can observe monkeys playing in the Tamarind tree, local birds perched on surrounding trees, as well as parrots and bats flying (EMAIL HIDDEN)e night time, the clear skies make way for thousands of stars to shine bright right above you, while flickers of flying light from fireflies are all around right outside your terrace. On the most elevated position, the suites welcomes the natural sea breeze, along with the terrazzo floors, cooling the room naturally. As such, there is no air-conditioning in the room, but a there is ceiling fan that could be used, if needed, during warmer months. The Suites also features comfortable outdoor couches in various locations to relax , stargaze, read a good book, or to simply meditate with the natural surroundings around you. It is possible to have the meals serves at your own privet balconies. working desks are also provided should you wish to do some work while staying with us. We offer free Internet access. Guest access “Fresh” is our in-house lounge / restaurant in Little Tamarind, focus on fresh, local ingredients. If you wish to have delicious meals prepared specially for you, our in-house chef will be more than happy to prepare scrumptious dishes. We source our fresh fruits and vegetables from the local Tangalle market while our fresh fish and seafood are sourced from the villages nearby. You are welcome to experience our fine dining, different cuisines all meals. If you wish to do some food shopping, the local supermarket is only 4 km away, which is about 7 minutes by Tuk-tuk. A large, weekly market also occurs at the town, where you can shop for mouthwatering local fruit and vegetables and everything under the sun.
