Le Mas du Couvin is a unique place located in the heart of the Camargue park, on the edge of the ponds. Ideal for lovers of nature and the great outdoors, it offers an immersive stay in a preserved environment. Close to amenities and remarkable natural sites such as the ornithological park and the Vaccarès pond, its location is perfect: Arles is 25 minutes away, while the village of Saintes-Maries de la Mer is 4.5 km away. The space Le Mas has 5 bedrooms that we have furnished and equipped with elegance and comfort, as well as a very large open-plan living area with a fitted kitchen, dining room and lounge. Up to 14 people can be seated at table for convivial meals in the heart of nature. In the living room, you can watch the countless species of wildlife, mainly birds, that inhabit the ponds. The 5 bedrooms all have king-size xxl double beds (180/200, French bedding). They are furnished to enhance your stay. Of the 5 rooms, 2 are ‘double/twin’. This means that the room can be prepared in two ways, either with a double bed or with 2 separate beds. For any special requests, please contact us. We can provide up to 4 extra beds for children or teenagers and 1 cot for a baby (extra charges apply for extra beds, please contact us). The rooms are decorated with elegance and refinement, using natural materials such as driftwood, wrought iron and sandstone. You'll love their cosy, delicate feel. Each room has its own toilet and bathroom (Italian shower), and French windows with built-in mosquito nets. One of the bedrooms also has a bathtub and walk-in shower. The farmhouse and its outdoor spaces will be entirely private for your enjoyment. On-site, you'll also find covered parking equipped with two charging stations for electric vehicles. Completely renovated and designed by a local architect, the house was designed to blend in with its surroundings. The owner and architect sought to create a resolutely ecological haven, respectful of the fragile nature of the Camargue. The materials were carefully selected to blend seamlessly with the outdoor environment. Ecological mosquito repellents have been installed on the property for your comfort. Near the Gines pond, an outdoor area featuring a large wooden cabin covered with reeds is available. It's the ideal place to meditate or observe nature and birds. Let yourself go and enjoy a refreshing moment in our magnificent lap pool. Perfect for cooling off on hot summer days, our swimming pool is the perfect place to relax and recharge. Nestled in the heart of a lush green landscape, it features a pergola with a terrace and comfortable armchairs, providing a peaceful and relaxing setting for our guests. Whether you want to swim a few laps to exercise or simply relax by the water, our lap pool is the perfect place to enjoy the sun and serenity. Regarding check-in (your arrival day), you can arrive as early as 10 a.m. (no extra charge) if the Mas has not been rented the previous day (please contact us when booking).
