Cool Chalets in Watamu

We offer 4 double Chalets- TORNADO, OPTIMIST, LASER and STAR. Each Chalet has its own unique feel. The rate includes a full breakfast from our Bamba Kofi Snackbar. Nestled in the forested area of Watamu Beach Cottages you will find these cool, African chalets offering you a serene and private retreat. The Chalets are named after Olympic Class sailing dinghy's to celebrate Watamu as a perfect sailing destination. *We offer a variety of other unique accommodation choices at our resort. The space Each double room chalet, features a four poster, queen-sized bed, a shelf unit for clothing and an ensuite bathroom with a toilet and shower. There are mosquito nets over the beds and all windows are screened. To keep cool you have both a floor and ceiling fan and there is wifi to stay connected. The chalets are secure and lockable, and have a private garden space with a seating area where you can relax and unwind. Next to or nearby, depending on which Chalet you are staying in, there are equipped kitchen spaces, with a dining & seating area, where you can easily prepare your own meals. *DISCLAIMER* PLEASE NOTE THAT WHEN BOOKING ANY OF THESE CHALETS, YOU WILL BE ALLOCATED WHICHEVER ONE IS AVAILABLE AT THE TIME. Guest access Guests have use of all common areas. Our lovely, chilled BAMBA KOFI SNACKBAR is exclusively available to all our guests – Your breakfasts can be enjoyed here each morning, and any other meals & refreshments can be ordered throughout the day. *We do recommend ordering ahead to help us get your meals to you without too much of a wait! We offer fast speed Wifi throughout our property and have a solar backup system at the Snackbar Clubhouse, to ensure constant connectivity. You have access to our sparkling, salt water pool to cool off, chill on the sun beds, read, or doze. There are several chill areas around the property, 4 view points overlooking the ocean, and at the top of the Clubhouse you will find The Rooftop Lounge. For an extra special addition to your relaxation, we have an exclusive massage oasis overlooking the ocean where you can indulge in a SEA BREEZE MASSAGE. If you need a little activity, why not try a game of Pétanque or Table Tennis? Explore Watamu on an E-Bike for hire, or take a Kite Surfing lesson... all these are available from our resort. During your stay Our amazing staff are always available to assist you with anything you may need. Benjamin is the caretaker and is available to assist with any queries or issues. Purity is head housekeeper who will gladly sort out any housekeeping issues & arrange massages for you. Ken is the accountant and the man to chat to about payments. Other things to note Watamu offers many activities and places to visit, and easy access to shops and restaurants along Turtle Bay Road and in Watamu Village. Simply arrange a Boda Boda or Tuk Tuk with our staff. We have 24 hour security, a fire safety station, and access to panic buttons in an emergency. All our units are serviced daily by our housekeeping team. *We unfortunately do experience general, national power outages which are out of our control - we do have generators available as a back-up during the day & up until 10 pm only. We adhere to a strict "no noise" policy after this time, to be considerate to all our guests wanting a peaceful night’s sleep, so no generators can be operated during the late night hours. We do appreciate your understanding when these events do occur. PLEASE REFER TO OUR HOUSE MANUAL IN EACH OF OUR UNITS FOR USEFUL INFORMATION AND RULES THAT APPLY DURING YOUR STAY.
