The space Black Bear Lodge is a private retreat in the green mountains of Vermont surrounded by the hinking trails of the Corinth Town Forest Built with re-purposed antique post and beam woodwork which gives the house a vintage lodgy vibe paired with the owners eclectic taste in vintage art and antique decor to make up a fun and tasteful environment. Guests will enjoy a fully functioning kitchen with plently of appliances, pans, and space to create and a dining area that serves 8-12 people. Bedrooms range from a giant king suite, to dorm style 2 and three bed rooms, as well as three day beds tucked into cozy nooks around the house for extra guests. Outside dining is possible on both the back and front deck, and the upstairs deck provides lounge chairs to enjoy the gorgeous sunrises, fresh air, sunshine, and views of the white mountains of NH. Guest access The rental includes the entire house and surrounding yard. Other things to note This property is on a remote steep class four road. It is suggested you have a 4 wheel drive vehicle during winter months. During snow and ice season, we make sure the road and driveway are plowed and sanded for your arrival and departure. It IS possible you could get "snowed in" here during your stay if there is a storm as the road is NOT maintained or plowed by the town. Any additional plowing or sanding during your stay prior to departure is an additional cost .
